So now what's the plan?

Hello everyone.
I’ve been a bit quiet lately, and in the past that’s always been a bad thing. I’d just hope that people forgot I existed and didn’t make me feel guilty for just staring at a 100 X 100 RTP ocean screen and hoping my game would magically create itself. I’ve sort of grown up on this website, I’m far from the most active user but I’ve been here for 10 years and never really left it. It’s taken these 10 years to finally understand how to make a game, and how to get a good work ethic.
Unless something drastic happens, I’m not far away from updating the demo and finally removing ‘teaser’ from the title. I got a bit too keen and threw out the demo that is currently available in which you kind of get to play around with the features before it just ends randomly in a cave. This new demo, of what I originally intended, is about 1 - 2 hours longer and is just a bit more ... meaningful, for lack of a better word. This new demo will remain and will be all I use to promote the game before the full release is out.
I also wanted to say a big thank you to all the patience people that have given this game a chance. I promise I listen to everything you say. When my game got featured on the spotlight last month I almost did an IRL back flip before I realised that I physically couldn’t. Just remember that my silence is no longer a bad thing, I work on this game every single weekend like an unsociable hermit to fulfil this dream of mine...

No, I’m afraid it’s not. Plenty of things are complete in the project as a whole, but we’re currently looking at around 50% of the game being playable from start to finish.

This is how I feel, too! I am silent, but not dead. I'm excited to see the new stuff in action! Will saves from the teaser work?

In theory, they should work perfectly. I've re-jigged the stats, items and money a fair bit as well as plenty of other random bits - so you might be poorer and weaker but otherwise it should be an easy transition!
I'll probably offer the chance to play the extra content to beta testers first (in which I'll include a save) but it won't be mandatory.

Way too relatable. Actually, the work-ethic part still seems to be pretty elusive. XD
Glad to hear you're making progress, though! The demo was one of the most promising games I played from RMN in quite a long time. I'd be happy to playtest again if you need, depending on how much content will be added.
