I got the idea while playing Resident evil code VERONICa and I thought it be cool to make a game like that but in that Mansion so I went to the net and found One night. Its not similar to what I want but it was sure the best RPG maker VX game and I decided to make a game similar to that but I'm a newbie so I guess i kinda remove the whole battle with monsters thing so basically its a Escape game with no combat but try to avoid the Monsters in the Mansion.

If you can finish the game and see the ending you guys might think theres a sequel and you guys are right I'm making it right now and I want to add a little combat so just wait for the sequel that you guys can play. So post your comment and tell me what you think about my first game.

PS. Sorry if the game looks kinda like a demo ^-^ Newbie!!!

Its quite a easy game so I dont think I need a walkthrought, but if you guys want one then just tell me I'll post it quick as you can say "brutal fitness spices ilumina". So just tell me what you think about the game, since its my first.
After I found all the artifacts(I skipped the challenges for the blue and green ones), I called Fate, but when she asked Tash, Tash said she didn't have all the artifacts. 'Zat supposed to happen?

Maybe I missed soemthing. If you ever read this, please provides us gamers who need help, with a walkthrough, if you don't mind.

PS. ''Zat'' means ''Is that''.

It's a pretty good game so far, a couple of bugs, and a couple of mapping errors. (Like being on the left side of a hallway when entering a doorway and then being faced right.) a certain event is repeated, it's the one in the room where you have to use the pickaxe to get one of the lovely lady's numbers and it has the bucket of water... also I'm stuck on a puzzle, so I think adding a walkthrough would be a good idea, for you it is easy, but it's player and creator knowledge differentiation, you made it so obviously it's going to be really easy for you, but for others the puzzles are going to be hard to understand, like the birthday one, I felt really stupid when I realized what I was supposed to enter, and a little annoyed because of the wording.

Sorry about the errors but I asure you the sequel will be ten times greater but about that walkthrough I guess I can do that right now I thought the game was easy but I realized it was easy because I made it so yeah Im gonna make that walkthrough. About the 3 lovely ladies you can find the anwer in 3 pieace of paper scattered on that floor. you can simply use the numbers written o it and then it will open.
sorry about the wording errors but first of all I want to thank all of you guys that love the game and don worry as I say the sequel will be ten times greater so stay tune everyone and stay tune for the a spin off of The Mansion that will be called. The Mansion "Final Words", Its about a writter Anna Wilstone (One of the 3 lovely ladies that was in a puzzle in The Mansion) it has a pretty tragic ending so just stay tune.

I just realized I commented on the wrong game. My bad.
Hey guys, I just downloaded the game and it doesn't work. When I click at the icon there is a small black window of a game and this turn off itself. Can you help me?

I think this is the first time that this happened why dont you try deleting it and download it again
There are some serious spelling and grammar errors, like missing almost all ' in "don't" "it's" and so on.
And using present tense instead of past tense "who pin her against the wall?" instead of "Who pinned her against the wall?"
Or "Its lock!" instead of "It's locked!"

Misleading puzzle hints (the date of a birthday is day and month, may include the year, but certainly not the year alone)

It's a fairly long game with a lot of ideas, but there is a lot lot lot of room for improvements. It's not really all that scary or interesting to me, unfortunately. It does get better, though!
The music is pretty cool.

Only issue I found that was out there is the fact you can read the maids' diary and the low vision is gone and everything can be seen. Only certain rooms/events revert it back to normal but the diary easily gets rid if it any time.
Dragnfly
Beta testers!? No, this game needs a goddamn exorcist!

I stopped playing while following the little girl.

-Complete lack of proofreading.

-Treating your players like fools with the box combination hint. You shouldn't have said "P.S. The code is your birthday" or whatever because the box was the only available puzzle and the memo was the only available clue. But you also messed that up. As Kylaila mentioned already nobody counts a person's year as their birthday. You did good enhancing the puzzle with some math (2-step puzzles are always better) but ruined it with the more-than-obvious clue.

-Cheap jumpscares are cheap. Something running by and making a sound is acceptable. Sounds on their own usually work better. But don't have something appear and then blink out of existence. If it vanishes because it has supernatual powers or whatever, use an animation. If it vanishes because it's super fast then have it run off at 2x speed (preferably in the direction the player will need to go, heightening the sense of caution and dread. Also, copy/paste the event with appropriate switches to multiple areas so you're not forcing the player into a 1-tile path between boxes or whatever just to trigger your jump scare. It gets pretty obvious that you have something evented on that one tile.

-So I could see just fine without a lantern but getting the lantern makes it harder to see? You should've included a short cutscene where the power goes out or demonic forces blanket the place in shadow or whatever.

-While following the girl, in the room with the body you can walk on the body and enter the wall. Then you're walking on walls.

-This is more of an intermediate game design technique so I won't dock you points for it but having them save point say it's an unused diary even when you already have a save made me chuckle.

-The story went out the window with a memo I found while following the girl.
Dude killed 99 people in one night? Did he have artillery!? Did he have a tank and they were all tied down? Really, if he just ran around stabbing people I'd be amazed if he got 6 before the others got away, somebody overpowered him, whatever. Luring them in one by one is time consuming and 99 is a hell of a lot of people. Also were you drunk when you wrote that memo? The typos in it are more like you're slurring your fingers across the keyboard.

Advice:
Instead of typing all your text directly into the maker, write it all out in a word processor. Not only will this let you run spelling and grammar checks but you can also use guides to make sure none of your text goes out of bounds. Just copy/paste the lines in. This also has a motivational bonus since you can see a real-time progress meter for what percentage of your text has been put into the game correctly.

Another option if English isn't your native language is to ask somebody to proofread for you. The online community is great for that.
