Screenshot courtesy of Stedar. (No way it'd take me that many moves to solve this one. :P)

Cool, but the little arrow of the message box should go, it looks out of place where it is.

Right I was noticing that as well. I'll fix it eventually.

I can't figure out what the screenshot is showing despite looking at it from various angles. If you don't mind me asking, what's it about?
Looks like a Towers of Hanoi minigame. And it looks like he took about ten times as many moves as required to finish this off.

Hi KA~!

It's Towers of Hanoi, yes. I found a version on google. (Warning, Java.)

The goal is to move all the discs from the left peg to the right one. Click and drag with the mouse to move a disc. Only one disc may be moved at a time. A disc can be placed either on an empty peg or on top of a larger disc. Try to move all the discs using the smallest number of moves possible.

The number of pegs is dependent on the game difficulty. (3, 4, or 5 for Easy, Normal, or Expert, respectively)
This is what I get for watching tv and playing SU :,(

And thus I have learned something new today. Ironic since I actually know that game by its mechanics, I just never knew what it was called. ;_;

Anywho, thanks for the explanation. Now I can see what's going on in there.

You get the pattern and solutions to any level after playing up to 5 layers or so, but holy sweet mother of crap, to do the 12 layer one on java takes over 4000 moves! Who has the time to waste on that???.....

I do like that there is, nonetheless, a recursive solution. I should dump something like a 7-disc game on the player for expert mode. You could totally do it best case in 127 moves!

Yeah, only the truly bored people would bother with that. >.>

haha

Expert mode is supposed to be basically impossible, as it requires an unlock code to select on the difficulty screen anyway.

Yeahh it'd be a pain I agree.

Almost as impossible as the optional dungeon I had going in Dream Odyssey. I had a way to expand the maximum HP in a most ridiculous fashion. Technically, I could have made the optional boss with several million HP. Hell, the planned final boss for the game actually had 10 forms, each with about 80000 hp minimum, and each with incredibly devastating attacks. One form had this attack, called "Hate" that did 9999 damage regardless of resistances to a single enemy. Each form also had two indestructible tentacles (or extensions of the foe) that would cast random debilitating spells, i.e. status effects or stat debuffs. All in all, I was set to piss off a bunch of people. Too bad I had to scrap the current project.

It's completely optional though so you can get away with it. Haha!
You wanna know how to make the enemies have more than 99999 hp?

I've changed my rpg2003.exe with reshack to bypass the limitations. ^_^

I haven't had a need to yet go much beyond 15k. But a CBS is coming soon either way~!
