He looks...different. It' hard to describe it, but I think it's his hair: I think they're revealing his forehead a bit too much.
Forehead is a tad too high, yes, but you can't expect me to draw him perfectly accurate ^^;

The hairline indeed is a bit high, and something about his right (our left) cheek/jaw seems wrong when compared to rest of the proportions. Plus that ear is drawn from wrong perspective. :c
I think it's the chin/cheeks. It's like his chin is too thin, or like he's sucking his cheeks in a little. Also, he doesn't really look mean. xP
