Aw yeah, manly Faris!
They look good, though dude on the right does look like he could be a dudette. ;)
I'm not quite sure how he looks feminine, and nobody will tell me. He's meant to have a sort of melancholic, borderline-emotionless expression.

@Amaterasu But I don't like those designs, especially not Nicolau's. Tobias's face is pretty much the same, I just changed his hair back.

@wildwes: What I meant by "manly Faris" is that he looks like a masculine version of her.
It's a throwing knife. The guns are more similar to Sazh's weapons, but catered to FF8's universe (Nicolau dual wields).

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

He doesn't really look feminine so much as... young? Like about 15 years old, and kinda scrawny. The end result either way is "not manly". The version with the glasses had a taller face (making him look older) and a slightly wider jaw (making him look sturdier), so he looked manlier despite having glasses.

And oh don't you think those throwing blades are kind of too "bland" for a FF8-universe weapon? Then again, my opinion.

Only a few people in the FF8 world use bizarre weapons. Namely Squall, Selphie and Ward. Throwing blades are pretty exotic though.

I like 'em! They look a lot more FF8 and less Kyrsty. Looking Kyrsty isn't a bad thing, but having them beside established FF8 characters felt a little strange. These two, however, totally mesh with the others. >w<d
Also I'm not seeing the feminine-ness?? He looks young to me, rather than effeminate, which I dig! It's endearing. :D

Well they're both about Squall's age, so around 17-18 or so. Tobias generally looks older since he's constantly grumpy, and Nicolau looks younger since he's not an intense person off the battle field.
