Yeah it's for coherance's sake. It's basically painted anyway, since I used the binary tool in SAI (I'm a big fat cheater).

But that's also partially because it animates, too.
Oh, I see! Though in fact I feel like it's kinda easier to animate bitmaps than it is to animate pixel art, if you simply use PSAI's layers as frames and have them in different transparency levels to check your animation ^-^
I've animated like that some times (after the animation was done i'd save each frame as a transparency png file, then open them up with Gale and assemble.)

For me that's always been the easiest less hard method of animating.

That's exactly what I did for this one. I usually animate in Gale since it lets you preview in real time, but this was just too big. In fact it was too big for in the game. I got a little overzealous ^^;

And hehe :) I figured I'd put up at least one screenshot for RSD. I might put up another tomorrow. I've been kinda stuck on the game since I need to do all the Dollet maps and I'm only 50% through the first one (it's not an easy place to translate into RM...)
