A question...

If there was to be one, single, solitary battle in FFD against a character from a Square Enix game that ISN'T Final Fantasy, who would you want it to be against?

I was just toying with the idea of possibly adding a cameo battle, something like the one featuring Blackmoon Prophecy characters.

Hmm..not in Final Fantasy? I'd say probably Aya Brea, or the unnamed hero from DQVIII~ There's also Roddick Farrence from Star Ocean, Capell from Infinite Undiscovery, and Rush Sykes from The Last Remnant, as well. o:

That's an interesting idea. I think a lot of people will most likely request someone from the Kingdom Hearts franchise with which I'm sadly badly familiar, bar the YouTube videos on the KH Wiki. Well, I suspect that Sora, Axel, Aqua, and/or Xion will be the common choices from that franchise.

All good choices. Keep 'em coming. If I had to pick one, personally, I'd choose Crono. That'd be a fight. =)

I don't know, Aya seems more like a challenge. She has a vast choice of firearms and spells.

Well, Lenneth Valkyrie would probably make for an insane fight... (especially if she brought along Arngrim or her sisters, Hrist and Silmeria).

On the other hand, I would love to draw Aya Brea.

Also, any of the SaGa heroes from SaGa Frontier 1 on the PSX would be awesome... (Asellus, Emilia, Blue, etc)

This is probably done to death but "Slash, Flea, and Ozzie" was the first thing that popped into my head. I always think they're perfect since they're pretty much a cameo in their original appearance to begin with!

Ooh, I like the idea of Lenneth. That WOULD be an insane fight.

Slash, Flea and Ozzie would also be a lot of fun to do.

Loved Parasite Eve, but I struggle to see how Aya could be incorporated into Discovery's world.

Having Lenneth in would also give you an excuse to use VP1's kickass random battle theme. :)

Honestly, I think Gabriel Celeste would make a much deadlier battle. That mofo uses 28-hit combos and deals like 300,000 damage a pop in VP lol. I agree on the music, though.

My only other thoughts are Gilgamesh (FFV) and Sigfried (FFVI). Gilgamesh because he is just plain awesome and Sigfried be cause he is such a mystery.

- Slash, Flea and Ozzie (Chrono Trigger)
- Some Mechs & Pilots from Front Mission (think the mech suits from FF6 with heavy weaponry)
- The Slime Family (Slime, Red-slime, Sheslime, King Slime, Metal SLime,etc.)
- Spekkio (The shapeshifting guy for The End of Time in Chrono Trigger)
- A Random assortment of various Sqeenix characters :D
- Rocket Slime (Awesome Dragon Quest Spin-off game)
