I've never found that skill very useful (this is not a slight on it being in the game, by the way).

It's the only area attack Beclem has, and it has higher damage than the skills it was inspired from. It's pretty useful here.

Have you considered Fire Dance (FF6) or Earth Slash (FFT)? Not only would they give Beclem AoE attacks, but they'd do elemental damage too.

I feel like it'd be a little redundant to give a Monk elemental area attacks when Aeons and Wedge are available, no?
