The animation looks great, but it took me a while to realize flames in the middle of the beam. (When I first saw it, I thought is was a static image being shown for a few seconds.

Off topic question; the Gameover music is tentative right?

Now that I think about it. Are there any other bosses with animated attacks like Bahamut as well.

Most of the Aeons have animated attacks when you fight them (their signature attacks, that is).
