Double Trouble is a game created in RPG Maker 95. This game was started in December 1999 and completed in January 2001.

Double Trouble is an epic RPG, approximately 30-40 hours long, following the heroics of two young heroes named James and Jesse. After their parents are murdered by wandering bandits, they decide to become heroes who fight crime. They call themselves Team Rocket, and eventually uncover dark secrets within the Martec Empire, leading them to an even more important journey.

Yes, you read that right. Team Rocket vs. Evil Empire, played completely straight with no hint of irony.

Okay, maybe there's a small hint of irony.

This game is a comedy. In between (and sometimes during) the scenes that progress the serious main plot, you will blow up a continent with TNT, attach a jetpack to a dog, buy suspicious pharmaceuticals from a guy named Obviously Dangerous Man, recite the Team Rocket motto at completely inappropriate times, and be subjected to a lot of bad puns. A pretty good amount of the stupidity is also unintentional, because it was made by a fifteen year old version of myself. Fifteen-year-old me was not very good at writing good dialogue or coming up with believable conflicts. But he was still way funnier than you.

If you've played Vindication, you'll notice some similarities between the two. Vindication was originally titled Double Trouble 2: The Third and was a sequel to this game. But then I realized this game was terrible and no one should have to play it. ...Er, I mean, I decided to go in a different direction.
...
Actually yeah this game is terrible and no one should have to play it. BUT YOU'RE GOING TO ANYWAY.

Prepare for trouble.

I can defiantly see where you’re coming from

I didn’t know you where a fan of Pokémon LockeZ... though I should have.

At least this game sounds hilarious in a “so bad it’s good” sort of way. Maybe I’ll do a review for it I find myself with nothing better to do.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I stopped being a Pokemon fan because Pokemon reminded me of making this game and the memory was too horrid.
I will give it a try, what could possibly go wrong?

EDIT: I can't, is unplayable, mostly because is so slow

Oh, that's a new problem. Could it be that some modern graphics cards no longer are designed around drawing methods from 1997????

Try playing in windowed mode instead of fullscreen. Once the game is running you can change to windowed mode by opening the menu (press Esc), going to the system settings, and choosing Screen Mode.

Attention. I have updated this game profile's CSS code to more accurately reflect how well the game works.

Why LockeZ? Why?
Hello,
is there a way to get past the two doors in the (last?) tower? Where is the lance and mazamune? By the way, so far its a really cool game, but I think not finishable :(

If you return to Mirage Tower (the place in the desert that was only invisible from the inside), the guardian there will direct you back to Lucavi Cave first to find the Dragon Lance. The Lucavi Cave was hidden beneath the police station in Raja.

Once you get the Dragon Lance, return to Mirage Tower again and you'll be directed to the Masamune.
But in Lucavi Cave there is only a "weapon" which makes Jesse or James say "I dont want to know what it is used for" or similar, I cannot pick it up. And a switch that does nothing ;)
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THIS CSS

You gotta jump down the pit. (from the top center of it)
Ahhhhhhhhh, I thought there was something suspicious about the gap, but obviously I never tried it. Thank you very much.
And what is wrong with their eyes, 10 beers compensate the flickering, I have no problems.
Now I cannot find the guardian of omnipotence, a little hint pleeeaase.

They say there's some sort of hidden treasure somewhere in the marshes south of Nizbel.

If you shake your head enough the page appears pretty still.
I cannot find the Mazamuze, maybe I found it too early in the game and now it forgot that I am the proud owner? Like myself? I have a vague remembrance, but I would not bet on it.

I would not be surprised to learn that such a major bug was in the game, but in this case you're looking for an unmarked spot on the world map that leads to a hidden area, so I'm pretty sure you just didn't find it yet. Take the ferry across the lake south of Nizbel and just kinda wander around in the swamps.

It's near the west side of the swampy region.
Boah, okay. I did not expected games to be that difficult. Kick myself in the as. Years ago I would have found it out for myself (ähm, no). I found it, Yippie. NOW I will beat this game without your help ;)
