New update!

OK, I have actually preplayed the game three times before releasing this one, so I'm sure there aren't any completely game hindering bugs like the last time.

I also really want to start my own website where I review games; including RPG Maker games every so often, but mainly iPod games or PC game releases. The only problem I have is that I need to come up with a name. Any suggestions?
Have a nice week,

Game Design

Version 1.0.1 now availible for download

It's just my luck really. After just playing this once after uploading it have I found two bugs already. Looks like I've got that to sort out next time. So, just so it's clear; after defeating the first boss in the cave, you need to press the action button whilst standing one place to the right of the northern-most rock. Also, one you've left the dungeon, you need to press the action button in the center of the land that crosses the river at the first tile up. Apart from that, it's slowly progressing into a better game.

Progress Report

Version 1.0.1 to be released

After releasing the first download version, my primary goal was to work on anything that might need changing in the game itself. Understand that all feedback is taken in and worked on. Remember that Shadowsong was the first gae I ever made and hence my skills developed through the progress of the game. Now that I am more experianced, I decided that I wanted to make a second game, but considering that it sounds pointless to upload Shadowsong 2 without Shadowsong 1 being out first, so I thought I'd release the unpolished noob version as it already was.

It's come to my attention just how much work this actually needs, so I've started progress on an update. It's still the same game, (ie no extra quests will be released and Stefan's dojo will still remain empty) but I intend to clean up a few nooks and crannies. I also intend to fix and redesign about 90 of 222 maps in the game. Thanks for the feedback,

-Shill

Announcement

Finally, you can play Shadowsong!

There's now a link for the Beta version of this game on this page! The game is only a lite version and hence is unpolished and has little structure in major parts, such as mapping, design, text, fluinity and of course, probably the occasional plot hole.

This is actually the first game I ever made on RPG Maker, but as time progressed I picked ity up again with the skills I aquired over the time I've been a user and have released what is not too bad for a simple underlining version. Please feel free to download, enjoy, (possibly) and review!

Also, if you want, you can view the Shadowsong website where the general jist of Shadowsong and characters can be explained. Click here to view

Download the Shadowsong Beta Version!!!

Sorry, I had feelings that that last link would not work, but at least I've managed to make a link with all the things in it. I'm inexperianced with google docs so I don't know how easy it is to download all this stuff. 250 files in all.

Here's the dowload for the BETA Version

It's at this point I realised I think it would be wiser just to put the links here. Download all three links and then put them into a folder. Then you're ready to get playing.

Finally got Accepted!

I think now Shadowsong I is an official game now we can celebrate for a bit. If you're someone from the wikia (shadowsong.wikia.com) then you can be pleased to know that you can finally play this game.
I'd like to release a BETA version before putting files directly on here. It sounds cleshay or however you spell it but I want the best possible experiance for this game.
I can actually spot quite a few errors with it straight away, but unfortunately I can't get off my ass far enough to do the editing. So, I'd like to ask if you're someone who would like to take part in the final works of the game, (and be credited in the end-game credits) then PLEASE leave a comment saying so and I'll send you the link to the Beta version.

In the Beta version I'd like to ask you to open the editor menu yourself and personally tweak what you can see is wrong. The style I used to create Shadowsong may be different to what you're used to, but I'm proud to say that I made a whole game without using a single switch!
