Sacred Reviews: WWF vs WWF

I'm honestly surprised I never submitted this to the site before. I did this review all the way back in March of 2014. So, this review video is almost two years old at this point. As such, I won't be posting my script for this review since it has long since been deleted off my computer and I'm to lazy to listen to the video in order to recreate it. So, I suppose the following paragraphs will be more of a retrospective looking back at this game and the review itself.

Oddly enough I remember enjoying this game. Though, I largely attribute that to the fact that I found the concept ridiculous to the point of hilarity. Seriously, how else am I supposed to take a game about a bunch of old wrestlers taking on alligators and porcupines?

From a gameplay perspective though this game is highly flawed. One of the bigger issues you'll notice while playing this game is that most of the enemies are unable to touch you. Another thing you'll pick up on is that the last part of the level is inaccessible so if you haven't saved up your MP to throw chairs at the enemies or do drop kicks you'll be screwed and need to reset the game in order to beat it.

And, while I'd normally consider those crippling flaws it is necessary to take into account that this game was created as part of a five hour contest and as such was never going to be all that polished in the first place.

Though I do wonder if Dyhalto will ever follow up on his promise on my review video.

Someday I'm going to take the core idea and make something genuinely enjoyable, but first comes the magnum opus.
