I've got a few questions...

What does the currently available demo covers?

Wasn't The Fortress of Doom a sequel to Rise of the Sinistrals? Where does this game's storyline stand?

Have you considered coding a custom battle system to stay truer to the SNES games styles? (instead of using the engine's default one which always does a horrible job for fangames)
It should be easy to re-create or emulate Lufia 1+2 in RPG2k3. I've only enjoyed Lufias 2+3 so I maight check this out. It takes much time to create a fan game, that I know. Nevertheless, good job.
This game takes place 100 years after Lufia: The Legend Returns (making it chronologically the 5th game in the series)

As for coding a custom battle system, is that a possibility in RPGMaker2k3? I've been working on this project for a long time now, and I'm not sure if its too late to go back and change that...

The demo covers most of the first continent (of four).
With puzzles ?
Wtf ?

Every Lufia have his formal battle system and game design linked with his "world".

Lufia 1 = Westland = Classical RPG
Lufia 2 and RoL = Northland = Classical RPG with Puzzles
Lufia 3 = Southland = Classical RPG with Dungeon RPG

Eastland, Eastoland and Midland are not used.

Why not makes a Tactical RPG, but more like Arc the Lad ?
Or another type of game.

And your game is named Lufia 5, why not Lufia 4 ?
Ruins of Lores was a spinoff.

Lufia V takes place in Eastland and will also include Estoland in its story.

Also, I've been working on this for 6 years... sooo I'm definitely not changing it into a Tactical RPG =P.

As for the name Lufia V.. I came up with it shortly after Ruins of Lore came out, and I've just never changed it for nostalgia's sake. Technically this should be Lufia III if I am going to number it, since TLR and ROL were not numbered. (I was 14 or 15 at the time, I am 20 now.)

But yes, there are puzzles in this game.
So far, this game is Amazing! It does everything correct. After Fantasia is finished, I plan on going back to making my Lufia game. I've played all of them(Except Curse of the Sinistrals). Hopefully doing that will all pay off. Like you said earlier, Puzzles are tricky, but if you know what you are doing, I shouldn't be a hassle.

The only thing I can't decide is whether or not to use the Lufia I or II dungeon style. I hated Lufia III's dungeon style, where it was auto-generated and bland. But, the battle system was so addicting, I didn't mind going through them.

Tactical RPG's are NOT the way to go for this kind of game. This is a Lufia game after all. I just wish I could do the classical Round Based Combat and use the Selection Plus sign.

Anyway, It's good to see another Lufia game on this site!
This game is awesome.

I have a question. In the first mountain, there is a puzzle which says that all 3 blocks must be placed on the switches at the same time. How do you do that?

Hint: Use a skill item.

tx I made it.

Now the game is over and I'm mad because I can't continue until you've finished the game so I'm gonna kidnap you and force you to finish it :P
Yeah this game is cool, The Story and Maps. I'll use it as a guideline of sorts if that's okay.

I'm glad you like it so far! Although, the next version of the demo is coming out quite soon which makes many improvements, as much as I encourage people to enjoy the Demo 2.1, I would also suggest perhaps waiting until the Demo 2.2 to get the "true" feel that I want fans to experience. But hey, you are more than welcome to play both versions to see all the improvements made!
Ok great Ill look forward to the new demo. Got stuck in that tower any ways. Couldnt figure out how to activate the red and blue orbs to make that middle portal appear. :)
