How long do you think it will be before its completion?

Expect a few more years - its definitely a side project and I'm currently in school for game design and looking for a job at the same time :p
I have been checking on and off about this games progress and am very happy to know your sti'll not only working on it but released part 1!.

I give much praise to the dedication you have put on this project..there is no question this game is believable as a sequal. I agree Lufia premise is more a love story and struggle and I think you have done extremely well with how another generation would go in this world. I can also see you have alot of expirience with how this game runs and operates I, like many others, really hope you stick this out until the end because you absolutely have something very special here. Thank you and godspeed.Very well done!
I know what I'm doing when I get home after work!
I have put a few hours in this game and have found it enjoyable and challenging in some areas.
I have saved the townfolk from the tower and now, trying to get to the next town where Red Hat is supposed to be.
I am assuming you have to go through the Gaira Cave.
There is a room in the cave with four doors. One south that you can use, one north which you can pass through, one east and one west that are both locked even though I have the cave key. I also see the groups of stones 1, 2, 3 on both sides of the room.
Does that room have something to do with it?

I also noticed an event that may need another page? Only because I found the
Signet of Jareana on my own before I talked to the "old man" yet, he still told me his story, nevertheless.

Hey! Did you ever find your way back through Gaira Cave? If you come in from the Jarea side - you should head straight down and through the door in the first room (it is the other side of the door that the knight was guarding from the Taisume side)

Hope this helps!
It's been a few more years :)
Any progress on prt 2?

Any progress on prt 2?

Lots of progress! Most all of my updates are on the Lufia V Facebook page.

To give a short and succinct update: only two more dungeons are left to create! There's still other stuff that has to be done, but dungeons are definitely the most time intensive thing.
Hey boss. I just made an account to talk to you. I havent played the game yet as i literally just found out about this. Im downloading now and extremely excited. Definitly one of my favorite games and the first game i ever fully beat on cartridge at a young age. But are you using the games original music? If not do you have a composer? I would love to join you and compose songs very similar to the original soundtrack to give it a remastered feel or even new songs that are in the same style.
After playing this for a few hours and remembering just how good the original music is im not sure id want to change a thing. So i guess i retract my previous offer. Ost is awesome already. The game is fire man. Appreciate your hardwork. Think its funny though that you call yourself "cameron (dekar the great)" yet in the game the main character you called cameron and not dekar's descendant. Haha. No hate just found it funny.
