X-Noir Complete

The "Complete" version of X-Noir is now available for DL. I put it in quotes because while you can play from start-to-finish, the last case (Case 6) is missing the final boss fight sequence and is generally lacking in polish. Still, I thought some people who played previous versions of X-Noir might like to see how the game ended.

I hope fans enjoy the last 2 cases! Case 5 is more or less complete and features an entirely new zone! Case 6 is mostly cutscenes but brings the story to a hopefully satisfying conclusion.

I've already posted how I've felt about this game's reception so I'm not going to reiterate that here. It makes more sense for us to move onto World Remade which will be our next commercial endeavor. But with all the hours we put into X-Noir it would be a shame to never release what we did finish.

For those who would rather just enjoy the plot you can press the "F" key to activate Fomar... I mean God mode!

Also, one of the ending scenes I had in mind is not complete. Originally, there would be a computer screen as a background and characters would be speaking on some Skype-esque chat program. The characters were going to be represented by Ronove's full profiles instead of the cropped faces. For right now, however, still just dialogue.
Glad to hear this game has been completed. I'm going to be giving the last two cases a try sometime in the next few days. It's been very interesting so far.

You don't know half how much I've been looking forward to this release. Downloading right now.

Just one question, though. If you say "for right now", does that mean the currently missing content will be added some time in the future or will it stay "half-finished" forever? Because in all honesty, that would be a real shame...

We'll see. But I'd consider it complete for now. If any major bugs come up I'll squash them but otherwise I don't want it taking up attention. Time to move onto bigger and better things.

You know, between the commercial release of Labyrinthine Dreams on Steam in May, the prologue of World Remade in June and X-Noir in July, we've released 3 games in the span of 3 months! Wish we could keep that pace up.
Horay! I've really enjoyed the demo before, we'll see how it goes. =]
Nice! I appreciate that you still released this version even if you're moving on to other stuff--which sounds like it has the completed story even if some of the gameplay is missing? I liked the demo a lot and unconventional approach to making an RPG; looking forward to digging into the full game.
