I think an adventure game in a noir universe would be excellent. Would it be prominently around puzzle solving, gathering clues, or using intuition?

I'd like to combine all the elements of my favorite visual novel adventure games. The clue gathering and interrogation elements of Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk, the logic puzzles of Layton and the set piece puzzles of 999/Zero Escape. There will also probably be some classic adventure game elements as well as some experimental stuff (like the anxiety meter). Right now everything is a possibility while we try to figure out what the game is going to be.

Sounds good to me. Anxiety meter was an interesting feature.
Fer me throwing in an investigator and owls in a remote town means must see, must play.
