Story:
A scientist known as Evan has his own hobby of exploring places around the world. Rumor has been told that a treasure is hidden somewhere on a very rare island that is said to be hidden deep within a fog so thick that not even the eye of a deaf captain could see it. As the young scientist prepares to sail out in the sea in hope to find the hidden island, a greater evil awaits them that neither Evan or his companion are aware of. Will this treasure hunt turn out as it was expected, or will a drastic wave change the course of this adventure?
World:
The story takes place on the ancient island of Strombidge. This island isn't the normal paradise you'd travel to on your vacations, this is the island that's so well hidden that no one's ever found it. The story also takes action in a place beyond reality. Is it a dreamworld, or is it a paradise? Is it even real? You'll have to find out about that yourself!
Gameplay and Mood:
The gameplay takes place in 2 different worlds! On the mystic island, Strombidge and inside the floors of The Castle. The game is meant to be fun to play, exciting, emotional, scary and challenging. CO3 will deliver an epic mix of both reality AND imagination. So if you're the fan of games based on true reality or the fan of the games that are surprisingly imaginable, stay on, this game might do the trick for both of you.

- A mysterious castle filled with over 9 different worlds to explore!
- Exciting and climactic story with twists!
- Fun gameplay with a good mix of exploration, battles, puzzles, scenes and more!
- Well mapped areas with beautiful, creepy, mysterious and unique atmospheres.
- Minimap system that displays in your upper left corner which you can turn on/off at almost any point!
- Secrets! Hidden arrows, items, skills, bosses, rooms, side quests and all kinds of goodies! Gives the game a good replay value.
- A challenging difficulty. The game requires thinking, rather than repetitive
button mashing.
- Two endings! A good and a bad one.
Estimated game length: 30-40 hours.

Howdy! I'd like to dedicate this post to all of you who have decided to give CO3 a go. It's been really wonderful to hear from so many of you that you've enjoyed the game so much, even though it's my very first game. Seeing CO3 alive and active today is a great and motivating treat that keeps me going and exited to develop more and more games. Thanks for everything, guys.
Another thing that I would like to mention concerns the latest game I'm working on. It's called "Cold at Heart" and even though it may not look like CO3 and the CO1 Remake for that matter, it's still pretty similar. Like the Castle Oblivion games, Cold at Heart is at its very core a dungeon crawler.
The game is inspired by games like Super Metroid and Resident Evil and features fully custom graphics and a soundtrack (composed by myself). You can check out the game by clicking on the following logo:
Please note that the game is still in production. The demo available is currently in its Alpha stage, so any potential bugs, or errors are most likely going to be fixed for the full release.

CloseI downloaded this game and its not working. It can't find RGSS202E. I'm having the same problem with Zombie Survivor.
It's the RTP, you must have it installed on your computer to play RMVX games!

Great to see this has been finished. I've got way too much ahead right now but I'll have to make some time down the road.

I agree, kelarly's actually made a prequel to the series and more games as well. I think it's up to him to decide if he wants to post the games over here. I have some future plans for other two COs though, which will probably make a lot of fans happy :)

First off, you need to talk to the old man in the northern part of the village. After that, go west, next to the equipment shop. Talk to Suzie and then you'll find a new arrow to the left of the village entrance, near a snowman. Hope that helps :)
Hey game as great as the others too, I enjoying it in full, but it seems I stuck on second floor, I cannot find a way to remove that mud to explore a cave. Help me pls.
Hey thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying my game! You'll need to talk the "priest guy"(who actually is a florist). He appears outside at the first town map, just above the item shop. You'll get the rest of the info once you've found him. Good luck! :)
also u said that by pressing Y map will show up, but even having map, of for an example Hivoc falls, it didn't show up. No matter how many times I press Help me pls
You might have to try pressing another key because somehow, it's different on different keyboards. :/ You'll have try until you find the right key I'm afraid.

button mashing." Tried several times but guess I'm just a button masher :) I can think, but could not figure out how to get past those damn spiders without dying.

Thanks for trying out my game! I'm unaware of the difficulty in the early parts of the game, it's mostly hard because you only have one party member(more will join eventually). All you have to do is to be careful. If you're Lvl. 1, try fighting troops with weaker enemies(for example, one hornet). Before you even head out in the fields, you should get the Water Skill in Perryn Village and stock on some equipment and items. There are also a Recover Crystal in the north part of the Shrine Fields. It will heal all your HP and MP.
About the spiders, use Fire on them and Sleep Attack if you're getting low on MP. Hope that helps a bit :)

I stuck, I cannot find last gold medal piece and I assume it in upper cave, but I cannot get inside Pls help me
I'm currently in votrox space mining floor as much as i hate to admit i'm kind off stuck on this floor. I managed to defeat larry and one the soldiers down in the castle i believe named lance told me to look up one of his friends in the outskirst in vorttrox which i did and as it happens i got a key.
But somehow i have not found the so called big tower where i have to use it?
Is it in some underground in votorx itself? If so how do acces the underground?Or maybe a secret passage in in votrox station or vortox north south central east west??? I wen't in all those places but couldn't find any construction tower where to use the key to free those poor miners!
This is so aggravating this geme is really captivating and it has been a lot of fun fighting my way through those floors but now it seems that i'm stuck just so close to the end!

@Fanatik007: There's NOTHING inside that cave at the moment. All medal pieces are somewhere OUTSIDE on Trincol Island. Some are hidden very well, behind trees(not in sight). It's just a side quest, so don't worry too much about it if you can't find the last one. Puzzles like these will definitely have a walkthrough in some way in the future.
