I just updated Blackmoon Prophecy!




But really, these were some long overdue fixes that I noticed LPers experienced. Some of these I meant to fix ages ago, but didn't. Anyway! New changes! Fixes!

Version 1.20
- Added ATB Mode (Active/Wait) to the menu.
- Added Echo Temple to the overworld map. Includes a new super boss (Sapphire Weapon).
- Added new equipment: Chocobo Hood, Houlou Shield, Magitek Armor, Tonbogiri, Ultra Soft.
- Added several new chests throughout the game containing elemental resistance relics to let players strategize more against resisting certain elements.
- Changed name of spell tomes back to traditional naming (Fira to Fire 2, Blizzaga to Ice 3, and so forth).
- Corrected issue with Hermes Sandals that caused it to increase magic when it was supposed to increase speed.
- Corrected text of a chest in Hillsdale Passage that informed players they received an item that doesn't exist (Berserk Ring).
- Fixed a bug that caused the Whelk boss to turn into an Archareon.
- Fixed an issue that would cause the wrong battle music to play in Cid's Laboratory.
- Increased attack power of several ninja swords.
- Increased initial attack power of Nobumasa.
- Increased several stats of the behemoth monster.
- Lowered price of Phoenix Pinions from 500 to 250.
- Made it impossible to backtrack to Branch without using Gozmodan's Grotto after visiting Mysidia.
- Made the return to Branch Castle after the Lindblum portion of the game non-mandatory.
- Updated the title screen.

NINJA UPDATE: I forgot to include battles in Echo Temple. The version available for download now has battles in that location.

Hi I don't know if it's bug with Goliath or other rm2k3 patch you are using, but setting ATB Mode to Wait/Active doesn't change anything. No matter which option is set, ATB bar and monsters acts on its own all the time (no matter if I am in item/skills menu or checking target in Attack Mode).

Huh, interesting. That might be DynRPG's doing, not sure.
Yep, another bug is that dead allies have other statuses on and their ATB still rises - for instance my dead dragoon is standing with poisoned face, and his ATB still goes to full bar.

EDIT: Also easy bug to repair - standard attack monster animation have so low amount of frames, that when two enemies attack one ally, damage number has no time to show its amount for both attack. Make just like ~30-40 empty frames after attack snimation so damage shows properly.

Oh yeah, that's something I don't think I can do anything about though. It's just a general DynRPG/RPG Maker 2003 bug.
Ok, I turned off DYN RPG ATB Module and MP reduce indicator. It's playable now.
Cool that you still fix and adds things to this game. I like the new title screen, more clean and nice.
250 instead of 500 for p pinions is great, and make sense.
I took a look att the Echo temple and find
a really good shield
but that place was not really for me yet.
Is it some places i should go back to that i already has been to, for new chests?
I`m on third map.
Good idea about Nobusuma ,he was a little weak in the beginning.
Once the last anounced update from discord is live I will play again and update my guide.

If you're that far into the game, then there's no need visiting old areas. I did add some new chests, but they show up in the first 6-8 hours or so.
There are two bugs that makes game unplayable after some point (I repaired these myself in my copy):

1. Mohadmal Pyramid. That one tile in original copy is faced down, so character crash into wall, making game impossible to continue.

2. Lindblum Castle. After receiving Crystal of Life and all talk with Regent Grant, when party decide to go to Ivalice, Switch 1085 is used, instead of 1062, thus making all these people (party and three dragoons) stay still in throne room and making impossible to exit Throne Room.

Can't believe there's still an issue with the pyramid after all these years.

I'll look into the throne room issue. That's something I would have caused with this update, partially because it's been years since I did anything to the game and am pretty unfamiliar with the flow of it these days.
