Blackmoon Prophecy Change Log

Version 1.24

if walking into south shore checkpoint on the third world map, you end up back on the first world map when leaving.

Thanks, I'll fix that right now.
In the cave near the auction house that have open treasure chests that you push: I was going through it but the treasure chests didn't move. They did move towards my character when I walked away from it. It was weird.
I went to mount ordeals and did vera's trial but when I left I found my party had been changed and oalston was in the party, this shouldn't be right because I haven't even gotten oalston back yet.

Ah, ignore that place entirely. The weapons you get are probably no good to you anymore. I'll make sure it's not on the map in the next update.
edit; oops sorry triple post, my internet was lagging so i press the submit button multiple times cos i didn't think it was posting.
on the third world map east of baviro there is a monster walking around but when I walk into it, the game freezes, I can access the menu but I can't move at all.

I went to the last shrine.

When you first fly near there, you don't actually end up in the island where the shrine is, but instead between that island and the one north of it.

Outside the Life Shrine, I found a copy of the machine you fly in. Curiously, you can't board it. I went back after the events at Branch and it wasn't there any longer.
When first arriving on the Lindblum continent, there's a chocobo just chilling out in the corner of the landmass outside of the Cave of Dreams, I think it's called? After meeting the Regent, it disappears.

When you try to enter the defensive equipment shop in Altair, you return to the town map. Kind of similarly, when you try to enter the house to the right of the magic shop, you get the sound upon entering, but don't get the blurring of the screen.

The dialogue of the scholar in the weapon shop in Citadel says: "... inidcating ...". I believe what he said what mentioned very early in the game. You should check whether that one also has this same typo.
i'm stuck in borealis cave, because there's a part of the cave i can't walk down,

Let him run into your airship. I'll put him somewhere so that he doesn't conflict with players who are on the ground.

That was from me. Remember, I used an existing save file to replace yours.

I'll be reducing the prize money from Aurabolt in the next update after deciding that, with a few wins, players will already be up by a substanial amount.
Decided to get a bit of a start on this.

When Vahn or Hans has a line where he says something like "he's up to something. he seems...Desperate" you capitalized desperate. (i think)

When the king has a mission for me, Vahn says "You have a mission us, Lord Adder"

Describing the mission: "Lord Adder: Anyway Vahn, I need you and Hans to go check it on the crystal...."

Did nobody see these errors? xD It's easy to rush to the end when you skim through the text haha

Soon after the last error: "Lord Adder: To reach the Water Shrine....then head north(no period) You will run into..."

If I talk to Adder right after mission briefing: Lord Adder: Theres (should be There's) something wrong...

haha Next sentence: "Lord Adder: It's(should be Its, right? cause It's means it is) power has been..."

It looks like every time you use ellipses you capitalize the word that follows, isn't that wrong? I'm sure you did that many times throughout the game so I'm not gonna bother pointing them all out.

Seems odd that the first store has nothing better for me to buy.

I have mixed feeling about the quality of the game. It's pretty decent but some things just don't feel right. Maybe it falls under the "keeping it like the oldschool games" but I would have liked to see a bit more effort in certain areas. I'm only about 20 minutes in, though.

I have mixed feeling about the quality of the game.
I think it is because of:

I'm only about 20 minutes in, though.

Seriously, making the oldest portions of the game enjoyable (which I have discovered are actually from 2003, not 2004) is a pretty frightening task! A lot of people have commented that they notice a significant increase in quality as the game progresses.

I'll add these grammatical errors to my list of things to do later today.
Some equipment suggestions;
  • The 'marauder sword' seems to quite weak for the point of the game you get in (kaipo)
  • The mining axe needs a major buff; because the 'Iron sword' deals the same damage with no negative stats
  • The beads should do more than increase evasion: I got them in gil-something's grotto I think
