What is Advent Island?
Advent Island is a game from various genres like RPG and simulation. You have the ability to farm crops, mine ores and crystals, create and upgrade tools, weapons and armors and fight off variety of monsters within the island. In Advent Island, you will meet castaways, monsters and NPCs that can help you survive the game. This might not be easy game at start because you will need food to survive. And looking for food won't be easy either.

What games inspired me to do this?
-Harvest Moon
-Rune Factory

The game is not yet final so I can reupload a new and better version of the game.

- Barite Helm price increased from 45G to 80G.
- Barite Plate price increased from 50G to 85G.
- Barite Boots price increased from 40G to 90G.
- 4 Directional Movement is changed to 8 Directional Movement.
- Hunger cost when sleeping increased from 10 to 15.
- You can only sleep at night.
- Both male and female actor graphic is changed.

Early access of version 1.2 is now available.

Um,I like the idea of the game but... where's the dev? No blogs, no posts from the dev. Please, I really enjoy simulation games like these
Sorry guys. I was too busy that I forgot to continue the game. The game was corrupted that made me so frustrated. But the good thing is I made a better one. It's currently on progess. I think I will release a demo this coming new year I guess? I'm really sorry if I don't post updates. My schedule always conflict with my time developing the game. I posted some new updates. If you suggestions feel free to post it here. :D

As of now there is no download. yet. This coming christmas or maybe this coming new year I might release the demo.
THIS sounds pretty damn ambitious. I hope all goes well with THIS project.

Edited to show I know the word 'THIS'

If you encounter some issues or problems about the game please report it. Suggestions would be a lot of help. Enjoy :D
Self-proclaimed Puzzle Snob
Hey I played this and it was actually quite fun. It only has a limited sense of gameplay and progression, but if you keep working on it, then you can achieve something cool. Here's a list of stuff that would do nicely with a game like this:

  • Visible time of day

  • A more varied way of getting materials other than waiting for each day before a plant respawns. Perhaps a 1 minute timer on each plant? Perhaps random generation of plants and their positions? For this I'd recommend the "Set Event Position" command

  • The ability to build various structures using materials

  • Being able to use axes to cut down trees to use for these various structures. Items like Branch, Leaf and Stone can be combined in various ways to create tools instead of them all just being given to you in a chest. That seems improbable.

  • The addition of other meters to watch, such as Thirst, Warmth

  • Hunting little animals to gain their fur and food to feed

Other things like that. The simulation will only improve with the more elements/features that you include. That's the unique thing about the simulation. For a good survival RPG Maker game about to be released, see Unveil. You might get a little inspiration from such a project. I've been thinking of making something similar myself.
I have about 39 Barite stones, and how can I see my foraging level?
