You will travel outer space in search of titanic creatures,
cataloguing them for humanity, as a lonely biologist on a old ship.
In search of these creatures you will have to explore, for example; arid planets, giant gas clouds, the abyssal depths of ocean planets and the insides of a red dwarf.

All this will take time and resources though, and you will have to gather resources as you travel, both in space and on various planets. With these you can upgrade all your equipment, everything from the thrusters on the ship to the suit you wear while exploring.

You will mostly have to manage all on your own, as the closest human will be lightyears away. Unknown creatures of the scale you search for won't be close by, after all. But will humanity thank you for your discoveries?

The Premise sounds really good. It seems that this is gonna be quiet and melancholic
FTL meets Shadow of The Monster Hunter. Looking forward to it.

and that rolling (snowing) background is a blast!
Did anyone else get the Mortal Kombat song in their head when they saw the title of this game?

Anyway, I'm all for space travel and exploring new worlds so I'm subscribing.

You should, you came up with a few of them, after all.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see them in their 'natural' habitat. Do you have all you need now? I thought of a couple more.
I could use some more if you hav 'em.
Oh man, I seriously love the visuals in your games! I can't wait to see what comes out of this!
I've played several of your games, and they've not only impressed me with their art styles and atmospheric charms, but they've also helped provide inspiration to me and possibly countless others. Needless to say, I'm quite eager to have a go at this game.

hmmm simulators are not my thing and even then its way to hard to survive.
as you cant leave until 5 time even with the upgrades you easily get screwed over.

nice attempt at something different tho

You're magical to me.

After playing this for a few minutes, I'm really enjoying it. I found the first mission to be fairly easy, but after that, I've been unable to complete the other planets without dying. I may just suck at this sort of game though, haha. Still, collecting materials and getting upgrades is very fun, and the graphics are so beautiful :DDDD

I don't know if this is a good suggestion or not, but would it be possible to return to the starting point on the planet and "abort the mission" and start it over (or go back to your ship?) There were a couple times when my air was running out and I knew I was headed for a game-over. I guess I could have just quit from the menu and reloaded, but I think an option that would allow you to abort (but lose any progress) would be cool. Just an idea.

That seems to be something alot of people suggest. I guess I'll have to cave in and change that.

I was about to echo unity's statements in regard to the abort option, but I'm glad to see you're going to implement something like that. I mean in a real life situation if you have a home base to return to whether that's a spaceship or the seafaring kind and you're running low on O2 you head back to resupply.
I've played (or at least tried) several of your games and this one was my favourite. Though extra short, the introduction and narrative had something I didn't find again in other space travel games, thanks to your skill in creepy atmosphere. It would probably have been way too hard for me gameplay-wise, but we will probably never know so it will remain that great experience. And thank you for sharing this!
