It's all about the pizza!

It was just like any other night out training with Master Splinter when suddenly Moussers attacked out of no where!

Information

Hello, RMN.

Ashes here, I just want to point out that this is strictly a Tech Demo and not a full game. Because of this, it only really has single level. I built this engine for the public to utilize. So feel free to give it play. If you're a fan and have been waiting for a Ninja Turtles game on RPG Maker, like I have, this is for you.
The graphics are all custom, minus the chipset, panorama and title screen art.
If you like this and want to add to it then by all means, please do. All I ask is that I be credited for the sprite work. So please give it a download and if you like it, subscribe to keep up to date with future releases and expansions.

Problems running TMNT?
Windows 8 has some compatibility issues, try running it in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

EXCITING NEWS!

Hello!

It's been a while, but I'm back with some news that I'm excited to share. If you're a fan of anything I've produced, most recognized example being Fey (https://rpgmaker.net/games/778/), then boy oh boy do I have news for you. With the advent of RPG Maker (officially) and the ability to publish to itch.io and Steam, I've been hard at work on What's Left (link below). It is a complete re-imagining of Fey, what it was intended to be. It is important to note that this is not just an official release, but something fresh, new, and more importantly... whole. The original version of Fey was, regrettably, rushed, and over half of the game was cut due to too many reasons to list here. But as time passed, it strengthened the sense of unfinished business. That and some persistent fans and friends finally tipped the scales and I began to revise, expand and rebuild the game from the ground up. What was a couple hour experience now spans 6-8, more if you consider the new side quests, hidden areas, secrets to uncover, tools and weapons, locations, story, dialogue, the ability to purchase a house, get a citizenship, buy furniture for your home, explore chunks of open world and etc. The list goes on, and on, and on. Some more notable things are the revised combat system, the ability to use swap weapons on the fly, the new menu, introduction and branching cutscenes. What I felt was a unique game (with the aim for it to play like a movie) is now a complete experience.... Oh, and for my fans (by popular request) there is a TON more Picaro, including the ability to utilize his unique powers at will. For more information, and to keep up to date on the progress, (Steam page is under construction, along with Youtube page, itch.io, and various others) clink the link below and subscribe. You can also sneak a peak at some more videos and screenshots on my Twitter and Instagram! Make sure to follow on your preferred platform! I appreciate the support and hope you'll share my excitement as I move toward release with in the coming months!!!

Does it have that huge robo guy with that "brain" creature in his stomach?
Nope, not yet at least. This is more of a tech demo than a full game. I am planning on going through and adding to it maybe a couple more stages and a boss battle.
Yay for TMNT!

Bugs found:
-When you're hiding inside your shell and attack, Leonardo slashes to the right regardless of the direction I was facing when I hid.
-When landing on a hole it would be prettier if Leonardo immediately started his Falling animation instead of doing the Landing one first.

It might be best to cancel the shell hide by pressing Up also. Right now only movement or attacking cancels the pose.

Yeah I put everything together in a matter of maybe 11 hours. So I didn't expect it to be perfect. Thanks though. I'll get to fixing those things.

AWESOME!!!! I will def be moding this.
Heh, interesting. Jumping pauses the movement of the enemies, that could be abused to some degree. It feels wrong anyways, I would want to change that.

Good start, though.
Dude, this was seriously awesome! The jumping was actually very precise, something I wasn't able to accomplish myself a few years ago when I tried to make a Sonic demo. I say keep going!
Thanks everyone. The reason it's not so polished is because it's open source. I may go in and release and updated pro version with all of the fixings but honestly that would make it harder to understand for the average dev. Either way. I really appreciate the feedback everyone and I'm glad you gave it a chance. I'll be tweaking and constantly improving. So keep your ears to the ground.

EDIT: I also will likely add in a combo multiplier at some point.

Has anyone done anything with this engine yet? Just curious.
