Aaaand ... another demo update?

Updated the demo again to version 1.4. Sorry to keep making everyone download things again, but think of my poor internet connection, uploading things all the time.

This latest version should definitely have the missing sound files, as well as an update for Modern Algebra's Animated Parallax script. This means no more stagnant water, yay!

I've been taking a bit of a break from gam mak (I think I deserve it?) now that the demo is out, but I'm hoping to get back into things in the next couple of weeks. Been slowly working on the next dungeon, which is a floodplain. This means making twice the amount of maps———flooded versions and non-flooded versions. Why do I do this to myself.

Anywho, hope everyone's enjoying the demo so far!

Oh god. That floodplain sounds like a nightmare, but hooray for interesting and creative locales.

I myself gave up on the dream of animated parallaxed water a long time ago. Was just waaay too much work. Also, no one ever commented on it when they played the demo. :(

Enjoy the break! You definitely deserve it. :p

It sounded like such a great idea, and I was like, "yeah, I'll only make four areas to reduce the work" and now I'm kinda kicking myself, but hopefully it looks cool! Animated water is definitely quite a bit of work, but I think it's worth it ... if you have a few hours to spare, haha.

I.. have an issue where for some reason I can't download from Dropbox reliably. Each time I try to download it just hangs and the download breaks, for lack of a better word. Mediafire is another good hosting site, and a lot more reliable too.
