Garret Ardean received a large donation of money from a mysterious organization called Dragonfly Studios. Looking upon the large sum, he knew there was only one thing he could do: host a Summer Olympic Games in their honour!
He gathered the best of the best from the world of Ethereal Dreams and Castle Chase to pit them against each other in four exciting sports. His plans went awry when another team appeared on the register list without his consent.
Who were these mysterious players, and did Garret care enough to stop the games? The answer is no, the games had to go on!

Seriously though, there is no story in the game. This was created for the Summer Fun Minigame Contest over at rpgmakerworld. It contains four olympics-themed minigames and was heavily inspired by those compilations you could get for gaming systems, particularly I was drawing on my memory of SNES ones. We were originally going to add a team select and story mode, but decided it was best left as it was while we concentrate on other projects.

The four minigames are
-Archery
-Discus
-Hurdles
-Synchronized Swimming
You can find more details about each in the screenshots section.

P.S. The "action key" is Space, Enter, or Z, and O is the prompt for the action key in synchro.

As with all of our releases, the download is standalone and requires no RTP.

This is pretty cool. Love the art and your scripting skills are awesome.
Very well done! ;)
Was fun to play that.
I thought this game was pretty neat and even submitted a review for it!
@Galv: Thanks : ) I'm really lucky to have Maki to work with, and I really enjoyed scripting for this. These small projects really are the best way to push your boundaries.

@DarkGamer: Thanks, and I'm glad you had fun.

@spirit_young: Wow! That's got to be the fastest review I've ever received XD I appreciate it, and I look forward to reading it once it has been accepted.
No prob! Big points went to the custom visuals and gameplay!

I'll defs be giving it a go. >w<d

Well! I'm not sure if my review got turned down or not but I'll PM you a copy if it doesn't turn up in a few days.
@emmych: Thanks : ) If I had to say one word for what me and Maki specialize in, it would probably have to be cute XD

@spirit: Is it still showing as pending in your submissions panel? I'm assuming it changes after they've either hit yes or no (not that I know anything about the other end at all). But here's hoping for 'ya
Ah gotcha! It's still pending. I'm new to the review thang so I'm not sure if what I present is up to standards!
care to share the scripts? Pretty plezzz!
Everything is hard-coded. The scripts are in no way useful for anything but this project. They're also horribly written since there was a short timeline.
owh i was hopin i can use it to make good mini game thanks for reply ^^
