Battles will be fought in an old fashioned ABS. Features listed here have already been implemented.

  • The Stream is a unique weapon, able to transform within heartbeats too a deadly tool or support skill. One moment it remains as a sword, next it changes already to a gun and the moment right after it will turn into the saving grace Healing Magic.

  • Up to 8 skills can be chosen at any time to form a deck out of which the Stream forms its shapes. This won't happen at random as powerful abilities won't appear as frequently as common bashes and battle magic. The more skills you chose the bigger the variety of your abilities is. But this brings the flaw that it's less likely that the skill you desperately need (like a Healing Magic) won't turn up the moment you need it the most.

  • During the progress of the story, Laura encounters two followers that joir her battles. One of them can be controlled by a second player. Similar to games like Secret of Mana the second player can hop in and out of battles at any time.

  • The battle system supports up to 5 enemies at a time. They follow different behavior patterns. Some gain distance whenever they feel threatened, other protect their fragile leaders while some act like cowards, hitting from far away.

  • Destructible environment.

  • Projectiles fly across obstacles that are impassable for player characters (like water surfaces).

  • Damage Numbers and Battle Pop-Ups.

  • No Pixel Movement (this is actually not a features, just warning to all Non-Pixel-Movement-ATB-Haters) but fine-tuned damage boxes that establish comfortable control.
