LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Definitely the one about finding someone to bone.

Yelling at us to stop fighting Red, Yellow and Indigo came in a close second. Fight his son, no big deal, gonna make some puns. Fight three beautiful women, terrible unforgivable crime!

Hmm... maybe I should make you a video of how I killed the final boss so fast.
I took all the skil and placed again solved the problem. After winning the final is only the message at the entrance.

After you defeat the final boss, a passage opens up in the upper-left part of the room. There's how you access the finale.

It's okay; Karsu and Soli have explained their methods to me. I'm going to re-release the game about a week after all voting from the contest ends, including new fights in Etalon and the chance to super-power the final boss a la V&V's Wicodian/D'kothos. I'm also going to nerf Shooting Stars a tiny bit; probably just by removing the inherent crit chance I gave it. Most other skills will remain untouched. (Slumber Point might cost a bit more Sanity.)

Sweet. Do you think you'll add that map function you were tinkering with for the menu screen?

Regardless, any new gifts, abilities, encounters, or even... areas...(?) will be devoured hungrily.

I believe so (re: the map). After all the voting is done I'll make a blog post with my plans. There WILL be an expanded Etalon, to make it the size of Bohea or Celsius.

Which area was Etalon? The second floor of the castle?
Well I have been playing this for roughly an hour and a half now, and it's very addicting. The gameplay (as always) is amazingly awesome. I can't even describe the feeling I get, but to make an attempt it would be that the level of challenge presented is so... PERFECT that I'm kept wanting more. It's not TOO hard, but it's certainly not easy by any means. It definitely does have the feeling of a "Craze Game" though, that's for certain. It's the same one that I got from V&V.

Anyway, it's been a good experience so far. Starts off abruptly, and the maps a very... well, let's just say they serve their purpose in the very least! Haha. \

I'm really getting into this. The only problem is that it's hard to tell when you're not ready for a challenge vs. you just need a new strategy. This is awesome.
I'm going to tell myself that you put "BRAN STOKER" in the quotes readme on purpose.

The game is designed to be a cross between Shadow of the Colossus and Megaman; you need the right tool to own an enemy, and they're all big hulking beasts that seem difficult (because they are) but that you CAN crack.

is that a "wow great atmosphere" comment on the maps, or a jibe at "lol RTP"????/

Also yeah, I hate long intros. Or intros in general. Fuck intros.
It took me a while to defeat the first Angel enemy you're able to encounter (I think), but I did... and it was awesome. Not for the reward, but for the ACCOMPLISHMENT! Haha.

And I'm not a fan of the maps, that's all. They do have their atmosphere, I'll give them that, and they're not BAD, I just don't like them. But it wasn't made to look pretty and have the greatest maps, was it? Nor is it the focus. Thaaaaat, and considering the time frame this was made in...

Anyway, yeah. But I love the gameplay, so I say to hell with everything else. THE GAME IS FUN TO PLAY.

And yeah, not a fan of long intros either. I want to hop RIGHT into the playing the game, which was also a plus. I made it sound like it was a bad thing, but it's not. =P
Shooting Stars seems to be giving a +150% critical damage bonus rather than the +50% indicated by the skill description.

Also, it'd be convenient to have some sort of radar/map to help know where there might still be previously skipped demons (or even overlooked gifts and such).
I really liked this game! superb quality, really.

One thing i miss is a map. Adder is a bit big not to have a map in my opinion.
This game crashes on me often, dunno why.

It's not script errors, just general program crashing, always at the start of battles (if it happens) :/

This seems to happen on people running XP. Are you running Windows XP?

It's something with the RMAce .dll itself, not anything in my control. =|
This game is really neat so far, Craze. The combat mechanics and encounter design are really fun.

I noticed that status condition icons don't display properly in encounters against multiple enemies of the same type, such as that enemy with four vines. Say I apply poison the first vine... Cycling through the vines will show that all four of the vines are poisoned even though only the first is. Targeting the eyeball weed thing in the center and then moving the cursor to the vines properly resets the status condition display. Basically, any time you cycle through enemies of the same type the status condition icons don't reset.

I went to some lava area first. I've cleared quite a bit of it but I had to give up on the Byrde sword since it was wiping my party in 2-3 rounds and evaded/resisted everything in my arsenal.

My general strategy is to abuse Sleep. Seemingly everything has been vulnerable to it thus far.

Criticism: Your dungeon and map design are awful. I may provide suggestions when I wake up tomorrow.

Yes, yes they are! Not only was it made in a few weeks, I am a horrible dungeon designer.

Thanks for the bug notice. Sadly I was aware of it upon release, but it got shoved in the "benign" category since I had to get the thing out on time. Also, sleep. I had to finally sleep.

Sleep should be useful, but it's too useful right now. I'm going to take a look at it for an eventual re-release. I don't just want to lower the infliction rate since that's a dick move, so... hrmm.
Add a buff to sleep that also makes the target immune to sleep for an additional turn or two beyond it--call it Insomnia. Or something that accomplishes the same effect while being transparent. Giving the spell a low success rate would just be annoying.

That's a fair point. You do have to prioritize when on a short deadline.

Anyway, I think I may've done everything in a weird order. The place I've wandered into now is an order of magnitude easier than the previous area--I'm not even using sleep or buffing up because I can basically have the third chick blow them up on the second turn with Shooting Stars.

I did go back and kill the Byrde though. My stats seem to've improved because his damage is somewhat negligible and I can actually land negative conditions.
Apparently I won. I didn't realize I was at the final boss--I see you're an Andrew Aversa/zircon fan as well. He just kickstarted a new album if you weren't aware: Identity Sequence.

Anyway, after clearing the lava area I went through some modern looking tiles that were really easy, but also really brief so it wasn't a big deal. I went into some sandstone looking castle and took the stairs up to what was apparently the final boss. She never hit me and I killed her and the solar guy in a few rounds. My strategy was the same as always. Put the boss to sleep with tank girl. Buff the rogue girl with Damage and Luck Up. Debuff the boss with Luck and Resist Down. Spam Shooting Stars with the rogue girl, who has gifts that increase critical rate and solar damage. By the time the solar guy joined, tank girl had max energy because she was able to save one energy each turn after putting the boss to sleep, so she just kept them both asleep for the next couple of turns while rogue girl kept spamming.

I really liked this game, though. I'll replay it later and try another wing. I think I went right. Whichever area was lava with the heart monster at the end.

I may have wandered crazily too so far.
I'll admit until re-reviewing the game page I wasn't quite catching on who was making comments at first- I had mistaken Argent's full-body for a bishie, and none o Anyway, I've a gift for you- check your box.
