Super RMN World is a community collaborative project made in Super Mario Bros. X. It's the 5th game in the Super RMN Bros. line; a series of similar projects that have run on this site over the years.
This event was judged by halibabica, Deckiller, nin8halos, Isrieri, and DarklordKeinor. They oversaw the critique and approval of the stages submitted to the project to ensure a high-quality end result. With 78 levels in total, they certainly had their work cut out for them! But it was all worth it. This episode is leaps and bounds greater than everything in the series prior.
The Plot: As a peace offering for his past misdoings, Eli has constructed an art gallery and presented it to Mario and his friends. The paintings inside shimmer mysteriously; they're almost too real! Eli waits at the end to hear what his guests have to say, but can he really be trusted?
You need Super Mario Bros. X to run this game. If you don't have it, you'll need to download it. When you download this game, unzip it into SMBX's 'Worlds' folder. Run SMBX, click 'Start Game', and you're ready to play!

Okay, I think 4:00 or 5:00PM tomorrow is a good time for a stream. I'm not going to be doing anything that evening, and I'll be able to go for a while into the night.
I'll let you guys know if plans get changed due to something coming up, but otherwise set your calendars. (I may or may not be able to bring some folks on skype to talk for me cuz I've gotten very rusty at speaking while playing.)

Well god damn. Cancel everything - I got some complications with my taxes and I'm going to have to spend tomorrow getting that sorted out. I doubt I'll be free later this week. Sorry! This is what I get for jumping the gun on things.

This game is fun! The controls were horrible. It was much easier when I used WASD to move
and on the keypad I use 1 for run,2 jump, 3 alt jump, 4alt run and 0 for item box. You will most be pressing 1 2 and 3.

The only reason I prefer WASD + IOKL is because on my laptop I couldn't hold left and jump, I had to let go of left to jump.

Well, I've played so many MMO's, they all use the same WASD arrow keys most of the time. When I switched it was so much easier and I stopped dying. I'm about done with the second art gallery.

Not much we can do about that. It's the default for SMBX, and the creator abandoned this software, so just be glad that you at least CAN set the controls yourself.

I apologize, I'm well aware yall do not have anything to do with the software. I just wanted to let people know what worked for me... Hahahahha.
Even if I did recommend you change it for everyone else, those controllers would be bad because some asses don't put the keypad on regular keyboards, and laptops are usually always missing them.
I guess I will have to be more precise next time. Hah.

I grew up playing DOS games like Doom 2 on keyboard, using the arrow keys. I don't do well with WASD, about as well as trying to throw a baseball with my left arm.

I hate the keyboard in general. Recently, I took some time to teach myself the keyboard, on how to type correctly. I use to type 80 wpm while pecking with one hand, I noticed my speed dropped to 60. Anyway, I'm back up to the wpm where I was at and taught myself the right way(This was a very tedious job). But, when I play games, I teach myself bad habits because I immediately take my fingers off the home rows. I feel like its going to morph me to where I have to reteach myself again. :P
But, I will always prefer wasd because most the games I've played use the mouse. I'm sure its mostly about preference. I was just giving people an alternate keyboard setup in case they really hate the controls the way they are, which would be the only reason to try my keyboard set up.

Beat the game, I give your game a 5/5...appropriate for the 5th community project. I had alot of fun. Though I gotta say you're gonna give people nightmares of that "one level". That level creep me out. o_o

Are you referring to my horror level, Path to Darkness? Regardless, glad to hear you enjoyed the game. We're gonna top ourselves with the next RMN World.
