Short and fun, but pretty repetitive.

"Think outside the box" is a fun little game where you take control of an actual box-child and help it solve three levels of amusing little puzzles. And while finding a solution is pretty much a piece of cake, the game will only let you proceed after you've found several ways to tackle a level.

This little boxy adventure is played by gathering items scattered around every level and using them with the environment and each other; reminiscent of the good ol' point-and-click adventure games. The "trying out every single possible combination of items and thing to use them on" part of the good ol' point-and-click adventure games is, unfortunately (or, for some, fortunately), present as well.

The game is very much worth playing, if only because of its fun atmosphere and silly, but quite enjoyable humour. The game is also aesthetically pleasing, and great care has been given to the graphics, including a few drawn scenes and the endings' pictures.

The downside is that it quickly becomes clear that thinking out of the box is not actually required - all the solutions can be easily found by using everything on everything: almost everything you could possibly try leads to a solution. There's a cool hint system in place, but it's not actually needed. Plus, after you find a solution, you have to reset the level and go through the same process of getting and combining items you've already been through - even if the next solution is obvious. It just doesn't feel like it's worth the 100% completion, time-wise.

Otherwise, the game's neat. Give it a try.~

Hey, thanks a lot! I'm sorry you felt it was repetitive - looking back, there's some dialogue etc. that I would've liked to have made only appear once. C'est la vie. But, thank you for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
