When I first looked at the post of "Think outside the box", I sadly got the impression that it would have an interesting premise poorly developed. However, I was wrong.
In any case, the game runs smoothly, and the game system is consistent and clever.

  • GAMEPLAY

The premise is quite simple, indeed: as the title claims, you have to "think outside the box" to solve three situations.
Even whether it's pretty simple to succeed the first time, it becomes harder to succeed in five, seven or even nine different ways. You discover, little by little, step by step, how versatile may the situations you find you in be. In how many different ways could you use a coconut, for instance? You have to use the items many times, interacting with some objects of the screen. Moreover, you're able to combine the items. In short, you have many possibilities and, of course, not all of them will work out, even if, with some logic and cold thinking, it's affordable to reach the end of the game without "buying" any advice thanks to the hidden charms, hidden all over the place.

  • STORY

Given that the premise is "Think outside the box", the story side is related to animate boxes, which are unequally adorable (even the red one). Even if there is not a proper story -there is an intro, there are five endings, and that's all there is-, the conversations are extremely fun.

  • MUSIC AND SOUND

The sounds aren't revolutionnary, but they are credible and well chosen.
The music, however, lacks consistence, is easily forgettable, and in some cases gets extremely repetitive. However, it doesn't get properly annoying at any point. It's something.

  • GRAPHICS

This game is extremely cute. All the chara designs, all the places... It has a very particular style. Some will claim there is not enough work behind the graphic aspect. Well, allow me not to agree. First of all, this kind of graphics is all this game needs. Something different would've been awkward. Second, almost everything on screen is animated, and that's great. Finally, the designs are really inspired, and the cliché-esque side of every character makes them even cuter. At the bottom of the line, this game is not beautiful. Instead, it's the definition of cuteness.

  • FINAL THOUGHTS

This game could have been a masterpiece.
However, suffice to say that there are solely three levels in the whole game. I finished it at 100% in almost one hour and a half. Honestly, it was so fun that I was disappointed by the fact that there were only three levels. These ones are perfect, and everything is awesome. But once it's over, I can't avoid feeling like a boy who is having a great time in some arcade game machines, and then suddenly discovers he has no money left.
It's a so good game that it's a shame it's so short. Hopefully, there seems to be another game for RMXP.
In any case, it's a really enjoyable experience. This game deserves to get more popularity.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked it so much! My choices were make more content or actually release something for once :P I agree that it's very short though. Thanks again!
