FROM NOW ON THE UPDATES OF THIS GAME WILL BE ON GAMEJOLT! Please go over there and check out the latest game updates because I have started to work on the game again and I made it longer and better!!!
Laura is a 14-year-old who likes to do anything that a normal young teen would do. But...her life is changed for the worse. One night, Laura awakens to darkness and candles. With the help of a lamp she finds nearby, she continues through her own home to find the remains of what it used to be like. The house is empty and cold. It is as if no one has lived there for years. When Laura leaves her home and ventures outside, the world is white and snow covers the land. The only thing to do is go forward into the nearby forest, and that is where the real fear begins to sink in. "Lamia Nox" is Latin for "Witch Night". The forest holds secrets that are not meant to be found out.
Characters of the game:
Laura: Female
Age: 14
Laura is the main character of the game and is played by the player. She has recently lost her parents and is now alone to fight through the darkness.
Ghost: Female
Age: Unknown
The Ghost of the game leads Laura into the woods to find out what is going on. Laura later finds the truth about the Ghost and finds that there is much more to what is going on.

CloseJueguito muy corto, de no más de 30 minutos de acción total. Ambientación oscura, acertijos y monstruos pisándonos los talones. ¿Merece esto la pena? NO.
Se ve más como un proyecto tester personal que como un juego de terror. Nada da miedo, te llevas algún sobresalto con los sonidos tan estridentes que tiene pero poco más. No solo eso, sino que el juego se esfuerza demasiado en intentar dar miedo, usa todo lo que se le ocurre, pero no lo consigue. Emplea una ambientación oscura total, que no hace otra cosa que molestarnos para poder ver por donde tenemos que avanzar; música de misterio-terror que no hace otra cosa que incordiar y dañarnos los oídos con el tiempo; y, poca emoción en general.
La historia es muy genérica, tanto los enemigos, como sus motivos. No es más que una historia de rencores con fantasmas y monstruos de por medio. No intentes buscarle el sentido a muchas cosas porque no las tienen. Ya digo, es un juego muy straight-forward. Es extremadamente raro que te quedes atorado sin saber qué hacer. Si mueres es porque la has cagado o el monstruo te atrapó, pero no porque caíste en una trampa mientras explorabas.
Lo único medio extraño es el final. Como todo el juego, sucede muy rápido y es bastante cliché. Sacarse el final bueno no tiene mucho sentido, ya que no te sale a no ser que consultes una guía. Por lo cual, queda algo forzado.
No lo recomiendo. Hay muchos mejores y mejor armados. Aunque no es pura basura, resulta entretenido hasta cierto punto. Se pasa rápido.

I haven't updated the rpgmaker.net version of the game in a long time. However, there's an updated version of the game on gamejolt that solved a lot of problems that the older versions had. I agree with you though on the "basic" part. It was my first try at making a spooky game, and for a game I made a decade ago, it's not that great. The dark grassy area was supposed to be dark, but not as dark as it came out in the final version. Back then I couldn't really figure a lot of things out and just went with it.

A few hours ago i played and finished this game. It was the first game i downloaded from this site and it was VERY cool. It realy was scary even for an old fashioned graphic game, and that's made it even more AWESOME. Ι started watching tutorials on youtube so i can create my own game. Until then, i'm going to finish all these rpg/puzzle games on the site. Keep creating!!!

I played this game, it was nice and had me laughing at the last part where you had to find the "old artifacts" that were flipped tables I think? Anyway, I really enjoyed this game. Oh, and something else, in Lamia Nox 2 you can walk over some barrels, just thought I'd let you know to fix that.

The game at the beginning was so amazing, I felt a little bit excited when I played, and the atmosphere was sooooo creepy. But that feel just got an end really fast when I got out of the house and went to the forest with skulls and bones. The jumpscare from awesome turned to.... well... not so good. And btw, this is some "problems" that I found in the game. :)
Thank you so much for the bugs you found and concerning the jumpscare... I never could find out out to make him slightly slower until it was too late :( The forest was supposed to be bigger and better than how it turned out because of it being a school project I had a time limit when making it. Thank you for playing by the way!

i watched playthru for it and was pretty good a few jump scares and low mid story
it was decent i dont want to lie it was not great but good way to spend around...40-45 minutes at the most to beat the game
