For reals, this is still happening? Woo!
Oh I'm terrible at updating, still plugging away daily though. xD

The primary reason I haven't posted a screenshot in the last year or even a trailer for that matter, is mostly to do with placeholders and concentrating on reaching milestones.

The yellow tiles are references for projectiles, basically spent a good week terrain tagging tilesets making sure the walls etc are bullet proof. Avoids the potential on hitting enemies through solid objects.

Ooo err.

The game is fully functional from beginning to end. 45 minute speed run with all weapons/infinitive ammo and 5 hours 24 minutes without. To be realistic with the release date, I'm eyeing up late October or early November... But yeah, I'm definitely retiring from solo projects after this and going freelance once done.

Considered at one point throwing a demo out there for feedback. But there's some aspects of the RM community I can't trust with, like for example using a rgss decrypter to steal assets that I paid for or even worse... trying to pass the game off as their own. I know I have to tackle piracy eventually, but I don't want to take the risk for now.

I would love to hire to a second artist full time to help out with the workload. But you know, zero budget and all. Then again, could always go down the crowdfunding route and give everyone plushies :3

Thanks for the support Gib and Cash, means a lot :)
Ooh plushies. At the same time setting up, running a kickstarter and then handling rewards etc could set you back time wise. Might not at this point be worth it.

Keep going, sounds like you're nearly there.
