This was the legendary Fortress of Solitude. No one who has gone in has ever come out again. Will you be the first to do so?


Castles - Masterpiece Set is a compilation of castle levels in SMBX by the RMN community. It isn't so much a game as it is a gallery of levels. The focus of this event was Level Design: To make castles that are more engaging via the obstacles and layout of each level rather than through atmosphere or graphics. It's pretty tough!


~TO INSTALL~
1. If you don't have it, download SMBX (it's free!).
2. Download the gamefile and extract the .zip to the SMBX "worlds" folder.
3. Start up SMBX, click "Start Game" on the splash screen, and you're ready to go!

Nah, this is a harder Mario game than normal. That's why I made a tougher tutorial stage! Have no shame!

I don't know if anybody will answer this but I would like to know who wrote the CSS for this game's background. I've tried to incorporate transparency in the tables but I don't know how I tried literally a whole day trying to get it to work. Whoever wrote it it would be greatly appreciated if you were to help me out.

EDIT: Never mind, found out how to do it.

it seems whenever i click "start game" it wont start and when i click Level Editor.. Its loading .. i dnt know what that means. can u help me?? TAT btw, im talking about the SMBX . and i already did you said ..

Well, the level editor is different than Start Game. However, I do know that it can take a LONG TIME for SMBX to load up. Like, minutes!

What happens after you click start game? Does a Loading screen come up?
