Brace yourself! Attempted tech demo release this weekend.

It's about time I release something to get some feedback on the functionality of the current build, and since I have a three-day weekend coming up, this weekend gives me a great excuse to do so.

This Saturday the 23rd, I'm going to try to do two things:

1. Release a playable tech demo. I haven't gotten feedback for many of the later changes to the game. As this has only been in development for a few months, feedback, bug reports, and so on at this stage are all extremely valuable to me.
2. Host a small server. HoU isn't designed to be an MMORPG, but instead something similar to Minecraft. Anyone can start a server, and you don't need to be online to play single-player. I've done my diligence to keep network traffic and bandwidth down to a minimum, but I'm not sure if it's at all playable over the internet.

With that being said, if you want to play this, then grab the build this Saturday. I'll be removing the download after I get enough feedback, so be sure to grab it while you can.

EDIT: Small plug, but I created a Facebook Page last week. Your "likes" make me very happy.

Thanks for playing. Yes, until I get the features ironed out and less buggy, there won't be a lot of content unfortunately. It's a bit more enjoyable if you play with others though.

I've noted your bugs, and I'll be doing a lot of bugfixing this week. A new version should hopefully be playable soon.
Played the tech demo and I have to say, it was pretty great but a little bland. Well, but then again it was just a tech demo :-p

so anyway, bugs:

--> Sometimes the enemy sort of go invisible when they are "crossing" you and you attack them.
--> The skeleton monsters sort of jump from an edge of a raised platform to the middle of the bottom platform.
--> If you use the windows close button to close the game, it generates a blank error file called jet_err_**** (* is four digit number)

PS: So glad that I downloaded the game before you took it offline :-)
