Basic Info:
The sequel to Fable of Heroes. This is a very basic RPG with not many fancy systems, just solid balance and gameplay. If you like oldskool rpgs and are looking for a solid play through, this is that game. I am just one man, doing what I can on my free time to make the best product I can.

One of the biggest feedbacks from the last game I produced was the walkspeed was too slow. That issue has been taken care of. You'll find an item that increases your walk speed very early in the game.

Story:
It's been 20 years since the fall of the Demon King, and peace has returned to the land. All signs of malevolent beings seems to have faded. However, it seems evil lurks even in humans, there are beasts living in all men. A group of humans that worship demons are hell bent on using that power that granted Descia her strength. If such power could turn a small princess into a lord of death and suffering, then one can only imagine what would happen if such a thing was used on a powerful wizard.

Katalina lives with her father in the town of Mazar, and it's common for her to go on quests with her dad, but this time things are different as he quickly rushes out to head for a far away kingdom, leaving Katalina to face her first quest by herself. Her curiosity to follow her father leads her to an adventure she never expected.

Features:

- Zelda-esque tools, explore new areas with new tools.

- Classic NES-era and SNES-era RPG gameplay.

- 10+ hours of gameplay.

- Optional bosses.

- Optional dungeons.

- More than 150 different monsters.

- Numerous secrets and side quests to discover.

- Highly Polished.

- Challenging game balance.

- Easier than Fable of Heroes I!!

Bugs and Future Patches and plans!

I have been seeing in the comments of this game that people are experiencing bugs. I don't have much time these days anymore to fix these bugs, but I'd like to get to it at some point.

I had this idea of re releasing Fable of Heroes II but remaking it in RPG Maker MV with whole new features and addressing the biggest points.

I've learned so much from FoH3 that I think it may be more fun rn if I go back and re make FoH2 on RPG Maker MV.

Those are my thoughts!

This look awesome.
I will subscribe it :)
Wow, I've been greatly looking forward to this!

I am so interested in how the story and game-style of the new product could be... Sequels are sometimes going to be a mess and boring-- like movies, novels, and videogames. Old-school is truly justice but, in these days, making a new fantastic game by using its style needs an outstanding talent, I think.

Yes I agree. My goal is to finish this project. I am just a man, working on this on my free time. I've tried to address all issues with the feedback I've gotten from the first FoH. I wont be able to do super fancy custom systems, but I'm trying to make things as interesting and entertaining as I can.

I'm hopeing my friends beta testing giving me honest feedback will help.

Some of the new things I've done. have been added zelda-esque tools, like bombs that reveal hidden areas, aswell as more than four characters. I've reworked some of the class theories too. I'm also trying to make sure that all the battles are really fun and engaging. It's a lot of work, and could take awhile, but I'm committed!!
Oh no... You have put off the target completion date till the next year, right? The valentine's day. It used to be November of this year, if I remember correctly. What a really long project despite of a free game. I still wait for it!

Yea man, it's just me, a one man show working on this, and I have a life I have to live. I'm considering shortening the game to make it come out faster. I'm almost finished with it, I just pushed it back because I really want it to be the best I can do. Maybe I'll finish it by Nov.
Oh, yes, you should do it at your own pace, of course. Perhaps I am a one man who are too eager to play your new game... I'm welcome to wait for it!
You should play Fable Of Heroes I while you wait. I actually got quite a bit of progress done on the new game last night.

not particularly a fan of longer games on these engines
don't think there bad but story and then gameplay are why i play for and you don't really need over 5 hours to tell a story in most cases

tho i had played a 10+ hours game recently called secret of stormlot made with 2003
and its amazing in comparison how few maps there were yet XD
when i saw the world map here i was like 50+ hour epic : (
then looked at feature and read 10 i was like NO WAY O.O
I'm trying to be modest, when I say 10 + hours. My friend beta tested and was at 15+.

I tried adding a lot of stuff to make the game fun to explore, it is more about the gameplay than story. I stopped adding extra content at some point because I felt that delaying this game any longer wouldn't be worth it for me. I'd rather use everything I learn here and gather from player feedback to make my next game even more Epic.

I feel like, someone such as Kenton isn't just born making badass long games, you gotta work your way up through experience. Getting my first RPG maker game I ever made featured on this site blew my mind, and it inspired me to keep developing my skill, I want to learn and get better.

So Shayoko, I hope you get to play and enjoy this world I built for you and fellow game players. Let me know how it is.
Alright, I think am near the end of the game, so I want report the bugs and issues I've found. fortunately, there only a few bugs. unfortunately... the few that I found, were game-breaking. conveniently enough for me though, there was a workaround each time (with one exception...grrrrr).

  • In the pyramid dungeon/area, if you use the first jump pad facing forward, you get stuck, forcing you to reset
  • if you try to bomb the area in the hidden picture below, you get stuck, forcing you to reset. this one has no workaround
  • if you go to area where the red star stone is again after you get the airship and talk to the lady underground, she re-triggers the part where all six party members reunite.this one technically has no workaround, but avoiding to talk to her seems to be just fine.

Now for minor bugs/odd stuff:
  • When you warp into the area that has a sign warning you to turn back, no monsters spawn, its just a barren desert and a house with a spear inside.(EDIT: actually when I went there a second time, a second place was there. not sure if I triggred something or wasn't paying attention; so yeah.) Additionally, when you get the book of Illyria, the sign changes from a warning, to a description of the deeper well.I didn't enter the area until after I got the book, so that might have something to do with it.
  • The reward for beating namath seems pretty meager, considering you can farm the monster hunting grounds indefinitely for the same thing (I think, the dragons drop sapphires so I'll assume the wyrms drop rubies).
  • speaking of drops, the drop rate for some salable items seems kinda low.
  • I'll post them in more detail later, but there are a myriad of typos, particularly in the cutscene dialogue and battle messages.

lastly,some suggestions
  • more save slots would be nice.I don't why Enterbrain thought to themselves:"let's go from 15 to 4 save slots cause' it makes sense!"
  • A bestiary in game or on this game page would be great. it'd be convienient to know which enemies have items worth farming for.

And that's it. I'll give real review type feedback later, but yeah,I actually enjoying the game quite a bit: the tools and battles are really fun.
Also maybe a general map...it gets confusing and if I recall at least one cave which doesnt describe the name of the cave, its just there.
Congratulations on finally releasing this game!!
I think I gotta make 50+ hours my spare time XD

Damn, I hate puzzles :( only cause I'm not good at them :)

Think I'm in the Pyramid, with a gazillion statues that have directional arrows at the base of each. "don't get lost" and "find your way back to me" are the only hints.....not nice Mr. Developer :)

Either someone tells me how to get through this puzzle or I will be forced to stop playing.....unless of course, doing the puzzle is not needed to complete the game:)
But then I need to know where to go next.
You click on the status following the arrows. You start at the center statue, and just follow the arrows talking to each statue on your way.

I'll see if I can make a video to show you how to do it.
