NOTE: Most of the graphics aren't permanent. They're simply placeholder graphics for now.

EDIT: I lost all data for this game when my last computer fried, and now I'm restarting from scratch, but using RMXP this go round. It's been a while since I've done any scripting or anything, and so the only things I'll really be doing for a while will be the events and variables and such. Scripts that add to gameplay will come later.

EDIT: I have found and fixed the obvious missing tiles from the lumberjack's home.

This is something I started doing on a whim. I've really enjoyed working on it, and if I get some decent feedback I may upload further revisions. So far I think I've fixed all the bugs and issues with the game, but if you find any, please let me know and I'll fix them as soon as possible....anyway...

The game is an open-world life simulation. Your goal is simply to master the available jobs (through repetition or the Trainer), buy a house, and fill it with stuff. The Intro is awful, and short. Just meant to teach you basics. Pretty much all explanation you need is available in game, but just to be clear, I'll say a few things.

To finish a job, you must return to the person who gave you the job. Most objects in the game can be clicked, all villagers can be talked to...though the speech isn't much, there's 3 jobs available, Lumberjack, Innkeeper, and Librarian. The realtor will sell you a house, and the lumberjack will sell you furniture.

To restore fatigue, and bring back things like the gatherable lumber, you must sleep. Either at an Inn, or at your House.

Features:

1 Town
3 Jobs
>Job Fatigue
20+ Furniture Items
4 Purchasable Monster pets
2 Purchasable houses each with 1 second-story addition.
Day counter/cycle

Coming Soon:
Cave (Already in production, hence the Blacksmith shop in town)

So yeah. Please, try my game. Give me feedback. Ideas, bug reports, tell me it sucks. Do what you gotta do, but give it a shot. Also, I'm not entirely sure where I plan on taking this, but I will expand on it, and put some semblance of a story. It's highly unpolished, sorry, but it's not a bad demo.

Update:

I've been pretty busy with work lately, haven't really had a chance to make too many changes to the game. Or work on it much, but as soon as I can, hopefully by the end of the month, I'll have more there. Also, I'm hoping to get some feedback. I know the game is highly unpolished, but I am afraid to add too much detail to anything before I know that it'll be in the final cut.

This is a working Demo, and things are liable to change randomly and immensely.

Anyway, feedback and stuff would be great since I've got a few downloads now :P And again, I hope to have a new edition up by the end of the month.

Well, I wouldn't mind giving you some feedback; if it weren't for the fact that the game is in .7z format or something.

So yeah, I am unable to play it.

winrar or winzip can unpack 7z files. It's just a compression system.
