Story: Amateur Project!!
You are Toby. An orphan kid from an ordinary village called Ilk. One day, you decided to visit the alchemist laboratory that was recently built. When you enter, you find an empty lab with a bloodstain near the stairs. And you hear a mysterious voice leading you forward. You eventually find bodies of dead alchemists. And at the end of the blood trail, you find an alchemist barely alive. He tells you of his project. He accidently released demons into the world and they are trying to kill all humans and alchemists for polluting the world with alchemy. But there are a select few demons that will not kill humans. And those are the ones that will join your fight against the Demon King and his "evil" demons.

- Demons Evolve at certain levels.
- Demons with weaknesses and strengths to certain elements.
- Plenty of demons to recruit. + Hidden obtainable Demons
- Has a Charmander AND Pikachu as recruit-able hidden demons LOL...
- 3 Starter demons to choose from.
- Class changes
- Chain skill gameplay for main character. (Chain one skill into another skill by pressing L or R, causing 3-4 skills used in one turn)
- Cool popular characters! like... Venom, Spawn, Carnage, Squall, Pikachu, Charzard, Grudge, Barney, Shiva, Ifrit, Diablo, and some other commonly known characters.

When it it coming off PAUSE?
Yes it's been a year, that's enough time.
no! im a quitter noob.
I literally made the game without a story. I just wanted to clone pokemon.
It sucked.. :(
Currently working on a diff game that I won't release until it's done. Because I'm a quitter.

I stopped this game because it's so buggy XD!
But I'm learning alot about how things work and stuff. Making a new one with Dragon Transformations now. But I'm not gonna reveal it until it's done because I might not finish it like this one. :( Plus.. This one is such a big file. I Learned how to resist using every file I find. :P
Whilst I understand your inclination to move on from this game if you do ever decide to go back I think you could find quite a lot of the game that is appealing and worth the revisit. As you yourself have realised playing it as you recently did there is still a lot of enjoyment to be had in this game, and it does offer some fun dynamics for the potential players, hence the reason I'll probably keep commenting on this page, or at least until it finally goes from hiatus to cancelled. XD
For example, whilst it's obvious the storyline is not fully fleshed out Toby's attitude to his circumstances feels very real, given the bad hand he's been dealt he's turned out to be quite the pragmatist, a fairly sensible response to a series of events over which he had no control. That gives the player a great base from which to emphasise with the protagonist, something that is a fairly important criteria for any game. The player has to be able to place themselves inside the MC's shoes at least in some fashion. On a purely aesthetic note you've done some good work with the custom menu and the moving overlay and I really do like the musical choices you made, so trust me the game is worth a revisit at some point.

Please fix the downloads so that there is one clear candidate only. I have no idea which one I downloaded, but the game freezes right outside teh alchemist lab due to poor eventing. This looks like it could be a good game though, so I might come back later.
