Deep Realm Heroes is a short 3D roguelike that pits you against skeletons and lizards and a randomly generated dungeon. Your goal is to 1) survive and 2) rescue angels. It draws themes from its predecessor Deep Realm Heroes and other dungeon crawlers, even though it's a 3D realtime game.

This game should take 10 minutes to beat and is more a tech demo of some procedural 3D dungeon generation techniques. All graphics by Enker for the game Endless Dungeon.

It's always amusing seeing how much pure charm old-school visuals have in 3D games - they look so cute and fun!

aha it is nice and short. I had some occasional issues with an enemy sinking halfway into the floor or an angel stuck halfway in the walls or being trapped by enemies in the halls with no bombs left but other than that it worked well for me! I tried doing things like getting all the angels without getting hit once or things like that.

OK, I would give it a try but it seems it says QtOpenGL4.dll is missing from my compootar.

Thanks for the tip, just updated the download. I made a stupid packaging error.
(works now, but the download's like 5x as big... oh well)
