Judah Brand
Judah is a member of the Black Wolf Mercenaries, a rather noble group comprised mainly of veterans from the Presean War. Judah grew up in the militaristic Church-State of Novus, but he holds no kinship towards his home. He sought refuge within the Black Wolves' ranks and has become a member devoted to any missions that come his way. The only quality he makes known among the majority of his fellow mercenaries is his dislike for the Holy Monarchy.

Lilith

Lilith, a witch in both nature and profession, leads a solitary life deep within the forests of the Granze continent. Cultivating a persona from hexes and fear have halted visitors in her woods, while allowing her the peace she seeks for both herself and nature. While she had maintained control of her personal curiosities in the past, with the beasts of the forest growing more rampant she questions how the world outside is changing hers.

Shin Murai

There are those in the world who are motivated strictly by what they gain in any given situation, and in no way is that a foolish motivation. Shin prides himself on his freelance attitude, never letting morality come in the way of making a living. Portraying a carefree attitude and seeking the moral ambiguity of any situation are what sets him apart from the average mercenary - he will take any job if the money is right, and the only justification he needs is just that.

Grid

The lingering despair of the war has many victims, those of the plague, those of the blade, and those of Grid's companions. While his once proud race were struck heavily by the plague, so too were they by the war's very nature. Even while dying for a cause, Grid watched his kinsmen fall before the viciousness of both disease and the Holy Monarchy. Grid now observes the aftermath of the chaos, his own race devastated along with his chance for revenge and redemption.

Iria Ohmstead

The Presean Dragoons are known for their devotion to the people and ferocity on the battlefield. Iria exemplifies this perception, and would just as soon sacrifice her life than allow that image to be tarnished. While she was too young to fight for her country in the war, she witnessed its atrocities firsthand and found it only strengthened her resolve.

Elle Villaire

Elle finds both duty and history to be quite archaic, focusing all of her energy on the future. As is the consensus with most of the populace of Marion, Elle believes cultivating the knowledge of the world holds precedent over its current turmoils. While cultures of the past seem to have created superior technology, she believes that it is their duty to surpass them.

Bright Firion

Loyalty, honor, duty... Bright, much like his predecessors is the totem of the Granze Knighthood. Bright grew up watching his brothers before him, following his father, enter the knighthood and face honorable, though tragic, death. The strength of the Granze army is its instilled tactic of unity, every knight and soldier defending one another with no fear of consequence. Bright has honed this strategy, and in doing so made himself an exemplary pillar of his kingdom.

Aria Wendell

Aria is one of the few citizens in the whole of the Holy Monarchy to be granted the freedom to travel. She has devoted both her life and freedom to the Church of Aevah, and in doing so found respite for the suffering she perceived from the world outside of her own. While much of the Holy Message is to save them from their own devices, Aria wants nothing but to ease their hardships. At times her own interpretations of the Scripture clash with those widely believed, but due to her reputation amongst the people she is granted amnesty.

Luca Firion

Unlike her brother, Bright, Luca desires freedom from the duties of the Granze Kingdom. She studies Ether Magic at the Granze Academy but dreams of the day when she will be capable of exploring the world, and hopefully expelling her guilt for wanting such things in the process.
