186 MBs... Dang, I can only download it on morning :(

Rechecking on morning...
I'll see if I can compress it further as to make it a little more accessible for you. I sometimes forget the allocation of bandwidth can certainly affect things ha ha.
I have problem with this:

I am able to get to the chest and retrieve its contents, but when I get back I get stuck on the tile on which Judah is standing on in the picture. Any solution?

Also, I think that the 'memory glyphs' or whatever you called them are kinda sparse, or you could think of some way to restore EP for the party in the Liet forest as it's a bit difficult and running back to the village every now and then to heal up and save can be tedious, although I like how the battle system works.

The event placement can be slightly finicky, but if you hit the action key a second time you should hop back to a walkable position, try to be up against the edge when you activate the events.

In terms of toppling the first dungeon, it is set up slightly like that of a tree in that you may (or in this case, do) have to take a few whacks at it in order to take it down. The design is such that if you get to the level I deem fair to defeat the boss with a modicum of challenge, the majority of easy encounters can be skipped. There are items that allow you to save, and there are also items available to you that suppress encounters.

Also, right after that area is a memory glyph ha ha.

I will take that under advisement, though. And thank you I'm glad you're enjoying the battle system.
Your mapping is good, no denying it, but with so many trees covering the ground layer and the aforementioned lily pad jumping makes me think that pixel movement is a bit overdoing it.

Also, that boss from Liet's Wood Path...I think I'll need to do some grinding...

And you're missing the 'Game Over' screen.

All ready reuploaded the file with it's missing contents, but luckily it isn't a game breaking error. As for the boss, it's entirely beatable at level 3. Depending on the feedback I may make a guide for everything. And thank you for your compliment on the mapping. I understand where you're coming from on the pixel movement I just liked the general event collision better.
*SPOILERS*
If you're having difficulty, depending on which character you have there are two ways of making the fight easier. If you got Reeve, make use of his blind to mitigate the attacks of the boss, if you got Hix then it's slightly different, just make sure one character uses the 'Bait' item on him and then take the wolves out individually while he is distracted. He can't buff himself, or summon more wolves while under that status. Hix also has a generally high agility stat which allows him to move quickly, combined with an increase in effect of any item he uses. "Well-stocked inventory" in this case would refer to, say, 8 or so healing items. While money can be scarce, you can easily pilfer both gold and items from most of the monsters in the forest. If you do grind to level 4, you should have quite a bit less trouble. Unless you got unlucky and the AI kept stacking bleed on you, you should feel accomplished when looking at a pile of bloody wolves afterwards.

You mean I could recruit Reeve at the Black Wolfs's HQ!? Grrr. I should have be more 'searchful' in this game. ;P

Ha ha indeed you can! It's real simple, actually. Lose the tutorial battle. Though, perhaps I should clarify, you can get either Hix or Reeve, not both. It's all about the replay value ha ha.
Also, I really like how you manage random encounters (for those who don't know what I'm talking about when a blue exclamation mark appears you have like a second or two to press the Action button to avoid the encounter, but when a red exclamation mark appears the Action button won't work, but you can still escape from the battle).

How did you do that if I may ask? A script?

It is indeed a script, and the way the encounter prevention items are done is with variables. The script runs by running a common event at the end of every battle and storing the main character's level in a game data variable which allows the skipping of low level encounters.
