Do you fight your fate or embrace it?

The hero
The young orphan boy, Matik, has never had anything handed to him. Forced to steal and even murder for survival in a city where almost everyone was against his Moontouched inheritance. Before he was almost swallowed by the darkness, Ranger Master Galidus of the Sevallon elves took him under his protection. After venturing through hell and back again with Galidus' protege, Integra White, he thought his life would finally find tranquility. Apparently fate wasn't that kind and the couple broke up violently. Sadly Matik has no time to mourn, as a god seeks to destroy him. Matik needs to find out about his true past and his role in this battle of the gods.
Will you accept your fate and become what you were born to be?

The World
The gods have fallen silent. A new great war between the empires is about to commence. World and characters are based on the tabletop roleplaying game D100 Eeria, a game which has been in development for over 10 years. It's recommended to play through Story of Integra where the world is more carefully described.

Features:
-Over 10 all new playable characters, each with their own storylines and quests.
-A Fate system that determines your game experience by your own choices. Do you uphold the harmony or fall into the chaos?
-An Alignment system that determines where you stand with the gods. You are a godslayer after all.
-Multiple possible endings determined by your choices during the game.
-All custom made soundtrack.
-All custom made battlescreen characters and enemies.
-The journal returns and tracks your progress during your quests.
-Even more sidequests with multiple possible ways to solve them.
-The old familiar towns with improved graphics and many new ones.
-All the old characters from Story of Integra make their return but with different twists.
-Sail the Sunsea with your own ship, hunt pirates or rob trade ships and visit new islands.
-Explore the new even bigger worldmap by foot or with your trusted mount and find hidden dungeons.
-Purchase a manor and even become a major of town. Do you guide your subordinates through these diffcult times or rule them with an iron fist?
-Hire an alchemist, gather ingredients and make the items you need for yourself.
-Gameplay time unknown at the moment. It'll be at least as long as Story of Integra.
-More to come as the production proceeds.

Note:
This is a direct sequel to Story of Integra. You'll be given a choice to go through events of the predecessor very briefly, but many dialogues and events may seem strange if you haven't played through it.

Many themes in the game are adult-like and direct, so the game is not recommended for children.

A decade later

It's been ten years since the release of Story of Integra. So that means I've been working on the Godslayer for a decade? Well not quite. It's been in production for 10 years. I've worked on it for maybe a 1/10 of that time. During the year 2022 I possibly opened rpg maker for less than 10 times. I also have other projects that I'm working on. Including the pnp rpg set in the same world as the rpgmaker-games. But Godslayer will eventually be completed! Even if it takes another 10 years. I hope Windows 15 can still run Rpg Maker XP.

But a progress report? I think it's about 90% done.

There's nothing huge to add anymore. Just a lot of small things to finish. The real struggle is to create the multiple endings to many quests and add their consequences to other quests and dialogue trees. When I was excited I might have added a little too many meaningful choices to the game. There's also some serious playtesting and proofreading to do. My friends have already spent hundreds of hours playtesting different builds of the game. And they need to spend hundreds more.

Sadly I've also decided to cut two huge parts out of the game. First one to go was the "Ruling your own settlement sidequest/minigame". You can still become a major of a town through an interesting sidequest. But that's as far as it now goes for now. The second part on the cutting board was the even bigger "Become a pirate or pirate hunter questline". This was supposed to have multiple quests, factions, ship battles, boarding, upgrading your ship and crew, and a huge different world map on the open seas. Now you gain a ship just through the mainquest and can use it to access some islands. To cut these parts from the game was tough but it had to be done. They were too much work and there were even some sections I couldn't even figure out how to actually code. After the game is released I might return to these quests and finish, and release them. But for now, they are out.

So how long until it'll be released then? Well at least a year, maybe two. It depends how motivated I get from time to time.
But hey, Duke Nukem Forever took 15 years! Ok, a very bad example...

If these are seriously going to be in there, then I'm sold.

I laughed so hard at this, I nearly cried! I really needed that, thanks!
Oh my you have no idea how awesome this is going to be. Pretty much everything is going to be better or more interesting. Just read that list and imagine everything being done with much care and greater knowledge with the RPG maker program than last game. Much more focus put on interesting dialogues too.

When we get the release date? :S

Indeed, as this is my second project I've learned so much about everything. So I guess it's fair to say, everything should be better. :)
When the game reaches alpha state, I can give it a real release date. Until then, you just have to read the blogs and check out new screenshots.
I am so excited. I liked the first game and I'll definitely play the sequel.

There really isn't goint to be a "bad ending" in this game, there will be so many things (even little ones) that will define the journey you take. If you want the "pure good" ending you'll surely know how to reach it. The point will be: Do you really want it? ;)
But yes, I guess I should start writing a walkthrough now that the game is still in production. When Story of Integra was finished I realized that writing a walkthrough would be too much work. (That's what you get when you make too long games)
where is the link bro ? I wanna download this game

Is this as hard as Story of Integra?

Most likely not as hard. We haven't even begun balancing the game yet, so we shall see how hard we can make it. ;)
