The new title screen! It looks strange when it is still, but it is actually animated and looks pretty neat.

This is the animated background. I did not use a .gif file in the game, I exported each individual frame of a .gif I made into separate .png files, and modified my title screen script to cycle through them as a .gif file would.

Additinoally, you can see little faint orbs of light moving around, and the title "Diabolica" will have a wave effect every few seconds.

Perhaps I'll upload a video demonstrating it later.

Obviously I can't speak for how the animated version looks, but the still frame is actually gorgeous! It has enough going on to be interesting without looking busy or sloppy. This is a title screen that would make me more excited to play the game. But you can't really give valid feedback on something when you're not seeing it in its fullest form. I'd love to see a video demo of the title screen in its entirety!
