Playable Characters

Alberich
Member of the dwarven race of Nibelungs, Alberich travels to the surface of Midgard in order to search for some way the Nibelungs can garner respect amongst the races of Midgard and to exact revenge on the Aesir whom left his people to rot in the underground world of Nibelheim on Midgard.
Brunhilde
The leader of the valkyries created by the Earth Goddess Erda, Brunhilde is comissioned by Odin to not only seek out powerful warriors with which to fill the benches in the hall of Valhalla, but also to seek out a relic with which they can bargain with the giants of Jotunheim in exchange for the construction of Valhalla. Odin's pride rests with Brunhilde, and he thinks of her as a daughter.
Siegfried
Young man born in the lands east of the Rhine and raised as the son of the Nibelung dwarf Mime. Possesses superhuman strength, but is incredibly hard-headed and could use a lesson in humility. Although he has not told Mime he knows, he wishes to know more of his true parents.
Thrull
Leader of an orc wartribe in the realm of Niflheim, Thrull is one of the first orcs to begin breaking the alliance between the denizens of Niflheim and the Aesir and travel across realms into Midgard. Once a living human on Midgard, Orcs represent the transformation the souls of the dead take in the realm of Niflheim after a life lacking in virtue in which they would be sent to Asgard. Encounters Alberich on his return to Nibelheim.
Daravok
A mysterious man encountered and freed from Roman slavers by Brunhilde during her encounter with a Roman slaver party. Not much is known about him besides that he is from a land far to the south and possesses powerful magical abilities he claims from the Gods he worships in his land.
Corinth
Outcasted member of the Nibelung race due to his fire-red beard and lack of obedience to he who holds the ring. A lover of the finer things in life such as drinking, smoking, tavern wenches, and having greater strength than not only any amongst his own people, but also of those he encounters in Midgard. Found in a tavern during Brunhilde's journey drinking his sorrows away due to the potential loss of his giant friend.
Wagner
Traveling merchant and skald, Wagner encounters Siegfried during his travels at Siegfried's home. He decides to accompany the young lad on his adventures seeking to increase the breadth of his storytelling as a minstrel, but moreso to gain valuable treasures with which to open his own store. Becomes a trusted comrade to Siegfried and advises him on during his journey and watching him grow as a man. Can be extremely negative as well as sarcastic.
Louella
A mysterious woman whom Siegfried encounters throughout his journey, seemingly spying on him. Wagner believes she is an elf, a sort of demi-god amongst the people of Midgard and that he is unsure whether or not she is to be trusted.
