Demo on the Way!

I didn't make the initial impression I wanted with the ASCII-based, oldschool look, so I've spent the last week or so converting all the graphics to ones easier on the eyes. While I did that I did full playthroughs on each of the classes multiple times to tweak some things - make bosses stronger, balance prices and items, fix a couple broken scripts. Also, I added signs of advice and lore-expanding journal entries, Focus Shrines as a new gameplay mechanic, new sprites for characters and enemies, new sounds, etc. I moved the project to RPG Maker 2003, and have a slicker looking battle system to go with it than what I had before.

With all of this, I think it's getting close to demo time. This will be my first public release of an RPG, so I'm pretty excited! Stay tuned, adventurers!
