Well, it's good.

This is going to be a long review, hope you can bear with me.
I like the game, it has an amazing atmosphere to me, moreso I study japanese and I enjoy all these 'urban legend' things. But for it to be more clear, I'll make a list of pros and cons :) So, here goes.
Pros:
1. The soundtrack is amazing. What creeped me out was the sound you used for that room right in the beginning... I don't know how to call it nor do I remember if it had any name, it is similar to that tunnel of lost souls. The absolutely creepy moaning got to me, and first time I played this I played it in the darkness, and it totally reminded me of "The Grudge" where she makes that throaty sound. Holy. And also, the music in general was fantastic... especially in that chapter where Kayako had to jump down the waterfall and find Shirokage in one of the caves. I feel like it perfectly matched the plot and everything else.
2. The drawings you used, the characters looked really cute (must say my favorite one was Kayako), I loved the Kirihara symbol and how the sword at the end looked like, with that small snowflake on it.
3. The story about Haruto and Yukiko, man... it was pretty tragic. In a good way, I guess I'm just a sucker for these stories. And I also fell in love with that part of the gameplay, where I had to clean everything and prepare things for them two. It felt necessary, after all the gore and the skeletons and anger and sadness we went through. Too bad it all went BOOM in the end. Quite literally.
4. So many options, choices, ways in which you can die. I love that so much. Although, for some reason, my 8-tile (?) thingy didn't work so well and I kept dying at the end where I was being chased by the bears and the wolves, I died about 20ish times xD until I realized that one of my Shift keys didn't work properly.

Cons:
1. Quite a few bugs. I'm not sure if I should put them here. Maybe you can reply a YES/NO and I will? Nothing prevented me from progressing, but it felt like at some point there were just too many. Both in the dialogue, and in the gameplay.
2. The characters had quite a few lines of dialogue that sounded really out of place. And I also got confused as to why Yuuki was okay with everything that happened in the beginning (when she went to look after the phone) - "Oh, at least I got rid of that onryo there!" said Yuuki, taking a bath. xD wat. I mean, I know it's pretty hard to show their feelings in an RPG game, and too much of that can result in overly whiny characters, but.. yeah.
3. I feel like the real end was rushed. And out of place. Yuuki made a deal with Hikami and she seemed so confused as to what happened, and right at the end she went like OH WELL, I'LL SACRIFICE MYSELF FOR Y'ALL. It didn't feel real, up to that point she'd been so confused and scared and basically terrified, and then suddenly this. But hey, it was okay overall, I know there's a sequel in progress and I would really like to play it finally.
4. The grammar, I guess? I know English isn't your main language, that is perfectly understandable, although it confused me because at times it felt like someone else had written the dialogue, it was perfect, but then it would be something completely different. Just a suggestion, no offense here, cause I know how it feels like, ask a friend to proofread it, it's gonna be way easier for you. And way easier for the player, sometimes I got entirely confused as to what they meant. :)

That's pretty much all I can think of here. Would love to help with the grammar and that if it's possible, as in, post the mistakes and bugs.

Overall, it was great, I played it like 3 times after all... Would love to see future works from you, good luck. :)
