CloseI find the top (new) layer to be superior to the original. The Mia and Tibarn are fine. The pauldrons on the armored knight may be a bit much (although that's probably because I've grown really tired of Satoshi Urushihara looking armor designs). Graphically speaking, Tristian's artwork looks better, but I personally like the green armor and the cape style of the bottom layer.

Yeah, I was thinking of recolouring Titania's cream armour to be that teal-green, but it's a bit tricky. Tristian did always look good in green. XD
And yeah, the Black Knight's pauldrons are pretty ridiculous looking in both FE games.

New Trabant, Camus and Darcy are a thousand times better.

New Tristy:
Ehhhh…I still kinda like her in her original attire more, as the teal and the blue part of her cape on the front really makes her stand out a bit better, IMO. I’m not against the new look entirely, but maybe you can use this as an alternate costume…???

New Camus:
This is the only one of the new portraits that I actually really like and much prefer over the old one. It might be because of the more stern face - or that slick black armor and purple cape that he's wearing - but he definitely looks a lot more menacing and more intimidating than his original counterpart.
New Darcy:
I guess Darcy decided to grow her hair out a little bit longer and just decided to grow an extra couple of inches... Both of them are all right, I guess, but I still prefer the old portrait of her more. Maybe it's just the thick outlining that makes her stand out a lot to me, but I still love her old innocent looking look.
Again, I would love it if you could have the ability to switch out between these many different costumes in some way if you decide to go down that route, but, as for now, I still personally prefer the old ones besides the new Camus. :)

The new Camus sort of reminds me of Cillian expression-wise. XD But regarding expressions, the new portraits makes it a lot easier for me to do emotions. As for Dante and Ianna, the former will probably still end up being a muscle-mage but I may have to do Ianna over...

Hmm, Tristian old, though that could be the armour colour, Trabant new, Camus old, but that's just because of the pauldrons if you reduced those to something that look less like he's about to take flight I'd prefer the new. Darcy, I like both iterations, the younger more innocent looking and the new more self-assured version.

The game's undergoing a rewrite too. XD I do need to fix those pauldrons of Camus. One wonders if he doesn't get jammed between doorways because of it, lol.

I think I like his old color scheme because that particular green makes the black scarf pop out in a cool way, but maybe it's too dark without the purple cape...
