DEXC

DEXC is a card-battle RPG heavily influenced by Watermark's incredible Deus Cards.

Battles are fought in real-time using an avatar and a deck of cards.

Decks are composed of three card types:

Vigor
Physically attack the opponent and buff the player's avatar. While straightforward, Vigor cards are also the most skill-intensive type of cards. Suited for those who indulge in winning through outplaying the opponent.

Clout
Summon minions to fight for your side. Clout cards fight for and protect the avatar while providing various effects. Suited for those that enjoy overwhelming opponents with force.

Psych
Cast spells to deal direct damage and manipulate the flow of battle with items. Psych decks can be both simple and complex. Suited for players that love creating completely unfair situations.

These three types combat each other organically through their innate properties, not through arbitrary damage multipliers. That is, the triangle isn't built upon “Protection from Psych” or “Psych deals damage -30 on Clout.”
