This version fixes the glitch that makes you unable to help Burlap.

You don't have to start over. You can simply copy over your save files into the new game folder.
Once that's done, talk to the pumpkin in the basement that is next to Gimme Candy. When he laughs, then you know he's fixed the glitch.
