:Story:

Aeons ago, before planets and worlds came to be in the fabric of time,
Goddess Gaea the creator of Life and Rebirth, created six mystical elements
which made the foundation of a world. Nature, Fire, Water, Earth, Light,
and Shadow, these elements coalesced to form planets full of life and energy.

The world you live in is known as Lakria, a planet blooming with lush life
and full of wonderful mysteries and legends. Many inhabitants of the world
often give praise and thanks to Gaea for bestowing them such a life to live.

Until one day, the energy of the Lakria appears to be waning and the planet slowly begins to start dying. Everyone is in shock and is wondering what might be causing the planet's pain, they began to look up at the sky to Gaea for a miracle, hoping
she will once again visit the planet and bless it with rebirth.

:Spiritual Energy:
In the game, energy and spiritualism are heavily referenced throughout.
Spiritual energy pertains to the very essence that makes living things..
well, living. It is also the makeup of thoughts, emotions, and one's being.

There is positive Spiritual Energy, which is basically positive emotions
like kindness, optimism, purity, etc, which can really make one's aura
visible and shine. Negative Energy on the other hand is the exact
opposite, evil, greed, lust, doubt, and envy.

Spiritual Energy is also a source of which Magic is drawn from,
this allows one to use Magic depending on how great/type their energy is.

It is noted that in the world of Lakria, there are extremely powerful entities of spiritual energy that are capable of manifesting into physical material depending on what they seem to represent.

I managed to reload to an earlier save and complete the old lady's quest during the rain, but I still don't know how to get Pattern Annihilator. I already checked both Sarcophagi in the arrow survival room.

NVM, I figured it out. To get the chest for Pattern Annihilator, you must kill EVERY wandering skeleton and sarcophagus mummy.

I don't think that's the game's problem. You need to install the RM2000 and RMG2000 fonts. Were they not included in the download? People usually throw them in the main directory just in case.

Wait, where do I get those at?

Wait, where do I get those at?

Check other old RPG Maker games you have installed on your PC or install the RTPs.
Just doubleclick on the font and choose install.
The game folder has a Fonts folder containing all the fonts you need.

The Pattern Annihilator can be found after defeating all of the visible enemies in the dungeon, excluding random encounters. So all the mummies and skeletons roaming the maps and the ones included in all the sarcophagi, a cutscene should play after you've killed them all!
Is this game's graphics original or "borrowed"?

It contains both original and non-original resources all around!
Having to reinput the casino password every time is really annoying. I assume this is to discourage players from abusing saving and loading?

In Blackjack, it's possible to tie with the opponent, but they'll still say you lose.

It's weird for the Blackjack opponent to be shocked when the player wagers 200, since 200 doesn't buy a whole lot at this point in the game.

Noted! I will probably make it a one time thing only for the first access to Olly's Joint in the upcoming patch! Hmm, in most games I've seen they usually count ties in mini games as losses, I kinda based it off of this, if it seems weird or offputting to a certain extent I can definitely fix that up!

I'm assuming Nach the Wild was just surprised that a kid had that amount of Gold on him lol but I'll keep it all in mind! Let me know if you come across anything else, and thank you for playing through the game :)
In the Void Chamber, I chose to pair Ren with Leena and pair Night with Serene. After doing the left door (Leon & Peace) and the right door (Night & Serene), I got the Nitemare battle despite not completing the middle door yet (Ren & Leena). However, the guide makes it sound like the Nitemare fight should only happen after completing all three paths. Is this a glitch?

The cutscene and battle with Nitemare will only occur once you got all 3 Orbs and head to the main entrance of the Void Chamber. These character paths will award an Orb: Peace, Serene, and Night. So I believe in your case, you should still be on the right path, seeing as Ren/Leena/Leon do not have paths that lead to orbs, but instead additional loot and treasures. As long as you have all those 3 orbs, you should be fine!

If I try to go into the middle path (Ren & Leena), the cutscene at the beginning refuses to play and an unresponsive Leena sprite is stuck at the entrance. This also causes the enemy NPC to remain in front of the statue where I'm supposed to use the Frost Medallion. Fortunately, I had a separate save to fall back on.

Also, using Essence to activate running in Leena's stealth section will cause a crash if she steps on a purple sparkle.

Ahh nice catch, I went ahead and corrected this, the cutscene and graphics will no longer be there if you manage to defeat Nitemare without entering down the middle path in that option. Also, you can use the Frost Medallion on the left and right sides of the statue as well, not just the middle! Sorry for the inconveniences!

EDIT: Thank you for the report, this has also been corrected now!
I love how the composer is channeling Yoko Shimomura.

I think he's stated that she's one of his biggest inspirations for video game music! I love it too :D they're such wonderful blends of sounds
The Mystic Dance spots at Westwood, Hijiro, and the first in the desert do nothing.
Those aren't Mystic Dance spots. If you look closely, you will see that the color's slightly different. If you complete a side quest later in Ishen, you will find a use for these spots.
Found an endgame bug.
When revisiting Nivel via the Rift Generator, I spoke to Lady Umbra. Partway into the dialogue, Night's face portrait has his mask removed. It happens at the line "You mean, they're out roaming the physical realm?!"

Also, teleporting from Urumun to Nivel will cause snow to fall in Nivel.

Thank you for the report, all fixed now. I've been compiling a lot of fixes on this patch and it's coming along great. I managed to tweak, tune and fix up loads of different things. Should be fairly soon that I release the patch! Thank you once again :)
