:Story:

Aeons ago, before planets and worlds came to be in the fabric of time,
Goddess Gaea the creator of Life and Rebirth, created six mystical elements
which made the foundation of a world. Nature, Fire, Water, Earth, Light,
and Shadow, these elements coalesced to form planets full of life and energy.

The world you live in is known as Lakria, a planet blooming with lush life
and full of wonderful mysteries and legends. Many inhabitants of the world
often give praise and thanks to Gaea for bestowing them such a life to live.

Until one day, the energy of the Lakria appears to be waning and the planet slowly begins to start dying. Everyone is in shock and is wondering what might be causing the planet's pain, they began to look up at the sky to Gaea for a miracle, hoping
she will once again visit the planet and bless it with rebirth.

:Spiritual Energy:
In the game, energy and spiritualism are heavily referenced throughout.
Spiritual energy pertains to the very essence that makes living things..
well, living. It is also the makeup of thoughts, emotions, and one's being.

There is positive Spiritual Energy, which is basically positive emotions
like kindness, optimism, purity, etc, which can really make one's aura
visible and shine. Negative Energy on the other hand is the exact
opposite, evil, greed, lust, doubt, and envy.

Spiritual Energy is also a source of which Magic is drawn from,
this allows one to use Magic depending on how great/type their energy is.

It is noted that in the world of Lakria, there are extremely powerful entities of spiritual energy that are capable of manifesting into physical material depending on what they seem to represent.

Lol took me less than a couple minutes of getting control of my character to get stuck in a wall. Kept hitting submit 'cause this website wasn't doing anything and apparently it submitted each time. Damn this website's forum settings need an overhaul, no option to delete posts? What is this, 2002?

It says directdraw error
This might be because of a low resolution support problem. What you can do is try to run the game windowed first, then use the program I put that's included in the game folder called "anotherfullscreenmode.exe"

This should help with resolution problems. Are you running Windows 10 by any chance?
Yes I am using windows 10 i'll try your way out thank you

edit:
I tried it still does not work.
Hmm, interesting, I know it has to do with fullscreen resolutions that are no longer supported. Can you try right clicking the game file, go to Properties, then check the compatibility and check the box that says run in 640x480. I'm curious to see if that would fix it
The screen just goes all white and then black and then says direct draw error and that its not supported I'll just re-download it

Edit: Now it says: The RPG Maker 2003 Runtime Package is not present or registered".
For some reason, I guess this download didn't include this one line to fix that, I could have sworn I did.

Add that line that's circled in red in the RPG_RT settings file, and that should do the trick!
Thanks it works now

You don't need to quote everything for a one line reply.
Awesome! I'm glad I could help you with that, just make sure you're playing the latest version of the game to avoid
some minor bugs and issues :) let me know what you think!

Your game does not start it goes to a blank white screen and then closes to a smaller black screen one

Glad I could help you! I'm still a little unsure on why you can't go back to that room, I'd hate for you to miss out on additional loot :[ The room with the ghost is located on the right side of the main room right? (Trying to remember here lol)

it's just odd because I remember that room not being apart of those scenario entrances, so in theory, it should still be accessible, I'll have to test it and see myself when I get the chance!
So I only did two scenarios (left room and right room) before the event trigger happened that caused the first boss fight before the rest of the dungeon opens up. That may have have something to do with it.

Some other bugs I noticed throughout the game:

- The demon boss (Goliath) in the desert drops a Fairy Bottle, but it did not show up in my inventory

- Night's Watcher Summon never worked in battle for me - there was no text with the summon's name, so there was nothing to select. I was forced to use Skills because "Attack" would remain stuck on "Summon" as a result.

- When you first get to the Dimura Ocean, I was able to use the flute to fast travel out of the ocean. This could result in a player becoming permanently stuck because there was no fast travel option back to the ocean. This was all prior to gaining the ability to play the flute underwater.

- There are also a few abilities that get weaker when upgraded with a Fairy Bottle. Leena's first healing spell (Nature's Touch?) is one of them. Also, Serene's healing spells are almost completely useless as they never get stronger.
thanks for the insight! Also, how long ago did you download the game? I fixed a few of those bugs already like the Goliath loot drop and Night's summon in the latest patch, interesting nonetheless, I'll be sure to check it out, thanks for reporting that :) I hope you've been enjoying the game at least!

Ah, that might explain some things. I think I downloaded it back in May 2019. It was just sitting in my queue of games to play. I didn't take that into consideration.

Was the Masoud quest made simpler since then? I had seen you make mention of that in earlier comments. I was a bit disappointed to find that I had to get a certain ranking in the Mirage Temple to complete his quest, which I didn't. That resulted in a lot of content being locked for the rest of the game.

I managed to complete the game yesterday. I think some of the aforementioned bugs prevented me from experiencing the full game as it was intended. That said, Lakria Legends has some of the best dungeon design of any RPG Maker game I've played. I was getting so tired of dungeons in other games that were just long slogs with multiple dead ends featuring uninspiring loot, and otherwise no puzzles or creativity involved. Lakria Legends set a new mark for dungeon design. The Water Sanctuary was my favorite (perfect length), followed by the Mirage Tower.

I also think it's awesome that the game used an original soundtrack courtesy of Jeremiah George. While most of the tracks won't stick with me, "Astral Plane" is a top-tier track that I won't soon forget.

All right, I'm dumb. I guess I wasn't pressing the action button when I was within that third circle. Ugh. Sorry about that - thanks for the help.
