:Story:

Aeons ago, before planets and worlds came to be in the fabric of time,
Goddess Gaea the creator of Life and Rebirth, created six mystical elements
which made the foundation of a world. Nature, Fire, Water, Earth, Light,
and Shadow, these elements coalesced to form planets full of life and energy.

The world you live in is known as Lakria, a planet blooming with lush life
and full of wonderful mysteries and legends. Many inhabitants of the world
often give praise and thanks to Gaea for bestowing them such a life to live.

Until one day, the energy of the Lakria appears to be waning and the planet slowly begins to start dying. Everyone is in shock and is wondering what might be causing the planet's pain, they began to look up at the sky to Gaea for a miracle, hoping
she will once again visit the planet and bless it with rebirth.

:Spiritual Energy:
In the game, energy and spiritualism are heavily referenced throughout.
Spiritual energy pertains to the very essence that makes living things..
well, living. It is also the makeup of thoughts, emotions, and one's being.

There is positive Spiritual Energy, which is basically positive emotions
like kindness, optimism, purity, etc, which can really make one's aura
visible and shine. Negative Energy on the other hand is the exact
opposite, evil, greed, lust, doubt, and envy.

Spiritual Energy is also a source of which Magic is drawn from,
this allows one to use Magic depending on how great/type their energy is.

It is noted that in the world of Lakria, there are extremely powerful entities of spiritual energy that are capable of manifesting into physical material depending on what they seem to represent.

Is this game's graphics original or "borrowed"?

I managed to reload to an earlier save and complete the old lady's quest during the rain, but I still don't know how to get Pattern Annihilator. I already checked both Sarcophagi in the arrow survival room.

NVM, I figured it out. To get the chest for Pattern Annihilator, you must kill EVERY wandering skeleton and sarcophagus mummy.

The Pattern Annihilator can be found after defeating all of the visible enemies in the dungeon, excluding random encounters. So all the mummies and skeletons roaming the maps and the ones included in all the sarcophagi, a cutscene should play after you've killed them all!
The game folder has a Fonts folder containing all the fonts you need.

I don't think that's the game's problem. You need to install the RM2000 and RMG2000 fonts. Were they not included in the download? People usually throw them in the main directory just in case.
Wait, where do I get those at?

Check other old RPG Maker games you have installed on your PC or install the RTPs.
Just doubleclick on the font and choose install.

How do I get the Energy Bond skill? The equipment spreadsheet says it's from a cutscene in Captain Gomez's ship, but I never got any cutscene like that. The PDF guide doesn't mention it either. Do I have to return to his ship in the future?
When you reach the part where you're sailing to Ishen after the Water Sanctuary dungeon, you'll get the option to talk to Leon and Serene on the ship along the voyage. Leon's cutscene is mandatory, but Serene's can be skipped if you choose to. Talking with her then will grant you the Energy Bond skill after the conversation.

Also, I apologize with certain inconveniences in the game along with those pesky bugs, I did get around to fixing them, but I'm slowly but surely working on a finalized patch for the game that will fix everything! Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy the rest of the game :D

Let us know your progress for the next patch!
Normally the rain will stop after you finish the temple.
I didn't finish the Mirage Temple yet, so it's possible that I took too long and the rain stopped.

It stopped raining in the Ishen area, making it so I can't go back to the old lady across the mirage bridge to complete her quest.

I never tested it as I went back to her as soon as I got the medicine.
Do you have a save before finishing the Mirage Temple?
There are some litte extras you can do when you follow my guide!

I also can't get the Annihilator Pattern to show up despite investigating the Sarchophagi in the Jackal Way.
Dang, I talk to everyone and forget everything, so I got the skill, but couldn't help others get it. :D
Return to the party. Defeat the enemy’s ship using special attacks and shift your current / extinguish fires as soon as possible. When you win you get 150 EXP and 100 Gold.
Talk to everyone and last to Leon. At night talk to Serene at the latest.

This was the part about getting Energy Bond. Sorry that I didn't make a screenshot.

Use Insert or Home. It should fix some shift issues.
author=Bugfragged
You can go into the menu and go into Essences, which will allow you to run again.

Edit: Ninja'd, but good to know that Insert and Home are also workarounds.

Thanks both, it worked by going into essences :) finally running free again

I have some issues with the game.. bestiario is a little crazy in turning pages. Last time i opened it and came out it resulted in the shift key not working. The character does not run.. i closed and opened the game again but nothing, it only walks. Some solutions??

In Mithros Castle, what does sharpening your sword actually do? I didn't notice any stat increases in any equipped weapon. Is it just a permanent bonus to accuracy or something?

You can only do it once and as far as I remember you got a permament attack boost.
